We are proud to share that Ms. Chinwe Okoli Special Adviser to the Governor on Innovation and Business Incubation and CEO of the Solution Innovation District (SID), has been appointed to the Global Steering Committee of the 43rd IASP World Conference, holding in Sophia Antipolis, France, from 27- 30 October 2026.
She is the only African on the Committee for this World Conference.
IASP - the International Association of Science Parks and Areas of Innovation, is the world's foremost network of science parks, innovation districts, and technology hubs. Founded in 1984, it connects over 350 member organisations across more than 70 countries. As a member of the Global Steering Committee, Ms. Okoli will help shape the strategic direction and programme of one of the world's most influential innovation gatherings, working alongside leaders from government, academia, industry and technology ecosystems worldwide.
This is a proud moment for Anambra State's innovation ecosystem under the leadership of Governor Chukwuma Charles Soludo, CFR, whose vision of โ๐๐ฟ๐ฎ๐ป๐๐ฝ๐ฑ๐ฒ๐ท๐ฐ ๐ฃ๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ฑ๐ท๐ธ๐ต๐ธ๐ฐ๐, ๐ฃ๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ฑ๐ท๐ธ๐ต๐ธ๐ฐ๐ ๐๐ฟ๐ฎ๐ป๐๐๐ฑ๐ฎ๐ป๐ฎโ continues to earn recognition on the global stage. Since 2023, SID has trained over 264,000 residents in digital skills and mobilised significant private sector and development partner investment, positioning Anambra as one of Africa's fastest-growing innovation ecosystems.
This appointment gives Anambra a stronger voice in global conversations shaping the future of science parks and innovation districts, and opens new doors for partnerships, investment and knowledge exchange, ahead of a conference that will bring together many of the world's leading innovation ecosystem builders.
