THANK YOU TO HRM, THE OVIE OF UDU KINGDOM AND THE ENTIRE PEOPLE OF UDU KINGDOM.

With a heart full of gratitude and humility, I sincerely thank His Royal Majesty, Engr. Michael Ogheneovo Orugbo, JP, KP, Okporua I, the revered Ovie of Udu Kingdom, for the great honour bestowed upon me today through the conferment of the prestigious Chieftaincy Title of OVI'OMO OF UDU KINGDOM.

This honour is one I deeply cherish, and I do not take for granted the confidence, acceptance, and goodwill extended to me by His Majesty and the entire people of Udu Kingdom. I pledge to continue upholding the values of service, unity, development, and mutual respect that strengthen our communities and traditional institutions.

I am particularly grateful to His Majesty for his fatherly guidance, wisdom, and commitment to preserving the rich cultural heritage of Udu Kingdom while promoting peace and progress.

My profound appreciation also goes to the Obi of Ukala Kingdom, HRM, Igwekani (Capt.) Ifeanyi Clement Ejiofor (Rtd.), KSC, JP; and Obi of Atuma-Iga, HRM Agbogidi Obi Daniel Chukwuka Ogbudo; for honouring the occasion with their esteemed presence all the way from Oshimili North LGA. Your support and solidarity added immense value and prestige to this memorable event.

To my beloved family, friends, political associates, well-wishers, and supporters who travelled from far and near to celebrate with me, I remain deeply thankful for your love, encouragement, and unwavering support.

As I accept this revered title, I do so with renewed dedication to fostering stronger bonds among our people and contributing meaningfully to the advancement of our society.

Earlier today, I hosted a high-powered security meeting at the Oshimili North Council's Secretariat in Akwukwu-Igbo as part of ongoing efforts to strengthen the safety of lives and property across the LGA. Deliberations centered on proactive security measures, intelligence gathering, and improved collaboration among security agencies and community stakeholders.

Present at the meeting were Divisional Police Officers (DPOs) from various police divisions across Oshimili North, Heads of different security formations, traditional rulers, and key stakeholders committed to sustaining peace, law, and order in the local government area.

Security remains a top priority under my leadership and the PUTA-IFE M.O.R.E Agenda of my administration.

Earlier today, I had the great privilege of receiving an Honorary Fellowship Award from the Department of Human Resources Management, Faculty of Management Sciences, at the prestigious University of Benin, Benin City, Edo State in recognition of my contributions to society and dedication to excellence in both my professional and public service journey.

I am truly grateful for this honour and sincerely appreciate the Department and the University of Benin (UNIBEN) community for this thoughtful recognition. It serves as a strong encouragement to continue striving for impactful service, leadership, and positive contributions to humanity.
