Earlier today , I had the honour of leading the NAOSS National Executives on a strategic visit to the Nigeria Immigration Service, Ondo State Command.

Our discussion focused on deepening collaboration in areas that affect our students especially around passport processing, student mobility, legal documentation, and capacity building.

As a government committed to student welfare, we are building bridges between our young people and key institutions. I sincerely appreciate the warm reception from the Comptroller and the team, and their willingness to work closely with us moving forward.

Together, we’ll continue to break barriers and create easier, safer access to opportunities for Ondo State students.

EID-EL-KABIR FELICITATION

On this sacred occasion of Eid-el-Kabir, I extend my warmest greetings and heartfelt felicitations to all our Muslim brothers and sisters across Ondo State and Nigeria at large.

This season of sacrifice reminds us of the virtues of faith, obedience, compassion, and communal responsibility, as exemplified by Prophet Ibrahim (AS). It is a moment to reflect on the strength of our convictions and the beauty of sharing with one another, especially the less privileged.

As we celebrate, I urge all Muslim students and the entire youth community to imbibe the teachings of this holy season — living in peace, showing kindness, and upholding unity across all campuses and communities

100 Days of Purposeful Leadership

Today, I join the great people of Ondo State to celebrate the remarkable 100 days in office of our Governor, His Excellency Hon. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa , and Deputy Governor Dr. Dr Olayide Adelami, mni.

In just a short time, their administration has redefined leadership through vision, action, and commitment to the people’s welfare. From youth and education to infrastructure, security, and inclusive governance, their impact is already being felt across our dear state.

As the SSA on Students Affairs, I’m particularly proud of the open-door policies and ongoing support for students and academic institutions. These are the building blocks of a future-ready generation.

This is more than a milestone, it’s a movement for a better Ondo State.

As part of the unwavering commitment of the Aiyedatiwa-led administration to safeguarding educational environments across Ondo State, I visited Complete Child Development Centre, Awule, Akure, following a recent incident involving a student, the Vice Principal, and external elements. The visit came in response to a breach of school policy that escalated into an unfortunate assault on the Vice Principal, who is now receiving medical care. The government recognizes the swift action of the school and law enforcement, and we remain confident that justice will be served.

On behalf of the Governor Hon. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa , I reassured the school leadership, teachers, and students of the state’s firm stance on protecting educators and maintaining order in schools. Our administration views teaching as a cornerstone of societal development, and no form of harassment or violence against teachers will be tolerated. Safe and disciplined learning environments remain a key priority under this administration.

In line with this vision, financial support was provided to the school and its SS3 students currently writing their WASSCE—to reinforce security, uplift teacher morale, and encourage academic focus.

Governor Aiyedatiwa’s administration is deeply committed to fostering an education system where safety, discipline, and excellence are non-negotiable values. Together, we will continue to build schools that reflect the future we desire for every child in Ondo State.

Hon. Kevin Solomon Olaolu, the Senior Special Assistant to the Ondo State Governor on Student Affairs congratulates Comrade Ayoola Joshua A., popularly known as Ajeflip, on his emergence as the new President of Akoko North West Students' Union.

In an official statement released from his office on Monday, the SSA described Ajeflip’s victory as “a testament to the trust and confidence reposed in his leadership potential by the student community of Akoko North West.

"On behalf of the Ondo State Government and the Office of the SSA on Student Affairs, I warmly congratulate Comrade Ayoola Joshua A. (Ajeflip) on his emergence as President of Akoko North West Students' Union. Your election is a clear reflection of your dedication, credibility, and unwavering passion for student development.”

The SSA further expressed optimism that Ajeflip’s administration will usher in a new phase of unity, innovation, and proactive engagement among students in the region. He emphasized that the Ondo State Government, under the leadership of Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, remains committed to supporting student leaders across the state.

Governor Aiyedatiwa Hon. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa Vows Continued Support for Young Talent Development

In a continued demonstration of Ondo State’s commitment to youth empowerment and talent discovery, Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, through his Senior Special Assistant on Students Affairs, Hon. Kevin Solomon Olaolu (KSO), reiterated the administration's unwavering support for platforms that nurture and showcase the potential of young people.

This reassurance was made at the Young Talent FIT Initiative Inter-School Music and Essay Competition, held at the Adebayo Afin Multipurpose Hall, Federal University of Technology, Akure (FUTA). Themed “Unlocking Your Innate Potential", the event brought together students from secondary schools across the state in a creative showcase of music, spoken word, and essay presentations.

Representing the Governor as the Special Guest of Honour, Hon. KSO delivered a keynote address that was both inspiring and assuring. He conveyed the Governor’s heartfelt support for the youth-centered initiative and acknowledged the significance of empowering the younger generation to discover and develop their God-given talents.

“His Excellency Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa is deeply committed to creating enabling environments where young talents can be discovered, nurtured, and celebrated. We believe that talent, when properly harnessed, can become a transformative tool for personal and societal development,” KSO declared

He further emphasized that the administration has taken deliberate steps to support education, skills development, and youth-driven innovation across the 18 Local Government Areas of the state. Highlighting programs beneficial to developing and encouraging young talented individuals.

Today’s event is more than just a competition; it is a symbol of what is possible when we believe in our youth. The future belongs to those who prepare today. And I am proud to say that under Governor Aiyedatiwa, Ondo State is preparing her youths for that future,” he added.

The competition witnessed stunning performances across categories, with participants displaying remarkable creativity, confidence, and intellect. Winners in the music and essay segments received medals, certificates, and educational materials as part of the initiative's effort to encourage academic and creative pursuits.
