I also commend Guinness Nigeria for its commitment to corporate social responsibility and its continued confidence in the Nigerian economy after 76 years of operation.

Some days ago, I met with leaders in Nigeria’s fintech industry to strengthen collaboration in safeguarding our digital financial space against fraud, money laundering, and terrorism financing.

On Tuesday in Kano, I called on our universities to embrace Artificial Intelligence as a tool for strengthening accountability, transparency, and ethical governance.

Our institutions manage critical resources and shape the future of our nation. Integrating AI into financial and administrative systems can help prevent fraud, improve oversight, and restore public trust.

However, technology alone is not enough—integrity must remain our foundation. The future of our universities, and indeed our nation, depends on it.

I was pleased to receive the Vice Chancellor of the University of Ilorin and his team on last week Friday as we explored areas of collaboration in strengthening integrity, especially within our educational system.
