Adam Nash, former senior enlisted leader of 4th Infantry Division the Distinguished Service Medal for exceptional service and duties of great responsibility over a 27-year career. Nash’s tremendous leadership, dedication and selfless service contributed to the overall success of the Army’s Mission.
The Distinguished Service Medal was established by an Act of Congress on July 9, 1918. A notable recipient of the Distinguished Service Medal is former 4th Infantry Division Command Sgt. Maj. and Sergeant Major of the Army (Ret.) Daniel A. Daly.

On June 11, 2021, at Fort Carson, Colorado, I, Command Sgt. Maj. Adam Nash, senior enlisted advisor of the 4th Infantry Division and Fort Carson, congratulated the Soldiers who baked the winning cake in a Fort Carson cake competition. Their cake, made in honor of the Army’s 246th birthday, took first place against two other competing DFACs.
