APC PATRIOTS PAYS COURTESY AND FAMILIARISATION VISIT TO JALINGO LOCAL GOVERNMENT CHAIRMAN, HON. NURU DANTSOHO

The APC Patriots paid a courtesy and familiarisation visit to the Executive Chairman of Jalingo Local Government Council, Hon. Nuru Dantsoho, as part of its commitment to strengthening relationships with political leaders and promoting constructive collaboration within the All Progressives Congress (APC).

The visit provided an opportunity for the APC Patriots leadership to formally engage with the Chairman, establish a stronger working relationship, and reaffirm the group's commitment to supporting the party's growth, unity, and grassroots mobilisation across Jalingo Local Government Area and Taraba State at large.

During the engagement, the APC Patriots emphasised the importance of cooperation, mutual understanding, and inclusive participation in advancing the collective interests of the party and the people. The group also underscored the need for sustained engagement between political stakeholders and support groups to strengthen the party's grassroots presence and promote a united front.

The visit reflects the APC Patriots' proactive approach to stakeholder engagement, relationship-building, and the promotion of a stronger, more coordinated APC family in Taraba State.

THE GIFT OF EDUCATION

I never truly understood how much parents wanted their children to go to school… until I witnessed what happened after Governor Agbu Kefas introduced free education in Taraba State.

I saw it with my own eyes.

I saw children who might have remained at home suddenly putting on their uniforms and heading to school.

I saw parents who had struggled with the burden of school fees finally breathe a little easier.

And I began to understand something very important:

The problem was never that our people did not want education.

The problem was that many families simply could not afford it.

When education became free at the primary and secondary levels, and tuition in state-owned tertiary institutions was reduced by 50 percent, a barrier that had kept many children away from the classroom was removed.

And then came the sight that really touched me…

Thousands of young people moving toward schools, colleges and institutions with renewed hope.

For me, that was more than an education policy.
It was an investment in human beings.

Because when you educate a child, you are not only changing that child's life.

You are changing the future of a family.
You are giving parents hope.

You are giving communities a chance to produce doctors, teachers, engineers, entrepreneurs and leaders.

And years from now, when the story of Taraba is written, I believe one thing will remain clear:

Governor Agbu Kefas made education a doorway of opportunity for thousands of Taraba children.

The buildings may change.

The administrations may change.

But the lives transformed through education will continue to tell the story.

Because sometimes, the greatest legacy a leader can leave is not what he built with concrete… but what he built inside the minds and futures of his people.

That is the legacy of education.

That is the hope of a generation.

And that is why this moment in Taraba's history must never be forgotten.

APC PATRIOTS COMMENDS CITY BOY MOVEMENT FOR CAPACITY-BUILDING VISIT TO TARABA STATE.

APC Patriots commends the City Boy Movement (CBM) for its visit to Taraba State and its initiative to train Local Government Area (LGA) executives on the effective use of the CBM App.

The training represents an important step towards strengthening digital capacity, improving coordination, and enhancing communication among the movement’s executives at the grassroots level. Equipping LGA executives with the necessary knowledge and skills to use the application can help improve information sharing, administrative efficiency, and the coordination of activities across the state.

APC Patriots recognises the importance of digital innovation, capacity building, and grassroots engagement in modern political and civic organisations. The introduction and effective use of digital tools can provide a platform for better organisation, timely communication, and stronger connections between leadership and members at the local level.

We appreciate the City Boy Movement for extending this initiative to Taraba State and investing in the development of its local executives. We also commend the organisers, trainers, and participants whose contributions made the exercise possible.

APC Patriots encourages the continued use of technology to promote effective organisation, responsible communication, and meaningful engagement with communities across Taraba State.
