It was an atmosphere filled with productive engagement and jubilation as Hon. Princess Miriam Onuoha, visited all the non indigenes residing in Umuelemai, Isiala Mbano LGA, to deliberate, interact and familiarize with them.

Addressing the momentum crowd, Hon. Princess Miriam Onuoha, firstly appreciated them, for the invitation, and thanked them for the support she have always enjoyed from the non indigenes in Umuelemai, known by their associational name as Stranger Elements of Umuelemai.

She further utilized the medium to reel out her scorecard and achievements in the 2 years she have been in the Green Chamber, stating that she have made it a point of duty and obligation to ensure that she changes the bad narratives of Representation in Okigwe North.

The Amazon of Okigwe North, also gave them the assurance that she would always make out time to come to interact with them for firsthand information, and to help serve their needs better. HPMO however, promised to always carry them along in the scheme of things, as they are considered part of the Constituency, as they exercise their franchise and constitutional obligation in the Constituency.

Hon. Princess Miriam Onuoha, moreso, assured them of her resolve and determination to ensure that she betters the living standards of all individuals, both natives and non natives, who live, and have in one way or the other, contributed significantly to the growth of Okigwe North, by continuously facilitating infrastructures and policies driven at improvement of economic prosperity at the National Assembly.

Speaking at the meeting, some of the stranger elements who spoke, expressed great happiness and satisfaction with the achievements which have been recorded by Hon. Princess Miriam Onuoha, within just two year in the National Assembly. They in the same vein, appreciated her for deeming it fit to identify, familiarize, and recognize them as part and parcel of her Constituency.

Reacting further, they informed Hon. Princess Miriam Onuoha, that apart from the polling unit at township school, Umuelemai, another polling booth have been officially created for them at Locust Estate, where they will be casting their votes in 2023.

They reiterated their support for Hon. Princess Miriam Onuoha, and promised to deliver 100% of their votes to her, for her numerous developmental strides and all inclusive Representation. They prayed for her success at the polls and wished her well.

......HER EXCEPTIONAL LEADERSHIP ANTECEDENCE IN VIEW

The name Princess Miriam Onuoha, is not a new name in Okigwe North, and have overtime become a household name in the entire Okigwe Zone and Imo at large. Even before being elected into the National Assembly to Represent Okigwe North, Hon. Princess Miriam Onuoha, have always been an agent of societal change and positive impacts.

She continues to have and maintain an unbeatable record of immense contributions to the wellbeing and betterment of humanity, even before her election.

This is a woman who already has an intimidating track record, and antecdence of helping and empowering her people, which sowed a seed of love and acceptance in the heart of the people.

Before she was elected to hold an elective public office, Hon Princess Miriam Onuoha have had many impactful scorecard to her credit. She have used personal funds, and the previous positions she found herself in to significantly better the lives of her people.

Firstly, as the Coordinator of SURE-P Okigwe Zone, appointed by Former President Goodluck Ebele Azikiwe Jonathan GCFR, Hon. Princess Miriam Onuoha, ensured that many youths, women and men of Okigwe Zone, were empowered significantly through that scheme, many were given jobs, many widows were empowered, youths were also empowered and placed on monthly allowances. This milestone gave her the famous MAMA SURE-P name in Imo State.

Drawing another analogy, using Añara where I hail from as a point of reference, before Hon. Princess Miriam Onuoha was elected into the National Assembly, She single handedly evacuated trailer loads mountain of wastes and refuse, which have been dumped for years at the famous Okwumabiri Añara, which was constituting a major environmental and health hazard to traders and all Añara citizens. A gesture she also replicated in many other communities in Okigwe Zone. This feat gave her the name, "Obu Ngwongwo".

Many benefited from her scholarship scheme, job facilitations, empowerments, Etc. All these and many more she achieved without publicity and self gratification.

The fears of oppositions lies in the fact that non of them have such widespread, people centric and intimidating milestone and antecedent before public service. Even those who have been in public service have not recorded massive achievements, cut across the entire Okigwe Zone, as HPMO.

They fidget, and continue to look for ways to malign and project the peoples Amazon in bad light, because of the deep rooted love she enjoys amongst the people.

Okigwe North have already made it clear that no amount of cyber bullying, propaganda, and maligning campaigns will retrogress the development which the people have achieved, and plans to continue achieving with Hon. Princess Miriam Onuoha at the National Assembly, Representing Okigwe North, come 2023.
