"Do you think you can hide for long??"I voiced making sure Suzzy who was currently hiding could hear me at least that's what she thinks.

I had spotted her long ago, her leg was right there sticking out from the big dark drape hanging behind the bed.

"Mmm... I seem not to find you, Tst...Tst, i guess you've won then" I heaved a sigh trying hard to play oblivious to her hiding spot.

"I... Think... I... Should.. Give up then" I counted my words slowly as I walked towards where she hid.

"Got you!" I yelped pulling her out by her arm.

"Oops...." She gasped in shock as she fell flatly unto my arms.

"So you thought you could hide from the boss huh??" I swashed as I held her firmly in place with one hand and tickled her with the other.

She threw her head back laughing endlessly and trying all possible means to free herself.

"Am so...rry..please..st..op.... Pleasee e e!!' She croaked in between series of laughter and I grabbed her waist pulling her closer, she wrapped her arms round my neck catching her breath.

"You know I love it when you beg me, it sort of gives me satisfaction" I whispered tucking some part of her hair behind her ear.

"Mmm... That means you must be selfish then because it's only a stingy human who enjoys seeing someone else beg" .

"Oh really, am selfish now aye??"

"Yes so so selfish"she said drawing the 'so so' part.

"So would I have been able to find your missing friend if I were selfish" I stated and watched as her mood changed to that of a shocked and astonished one.

She dropped her arms slowly from my neck and brought them down to my chest.

"What??!!" She exclaimed.

"Yeah, I've found that missing friend of yours safe and sound because as you know, am the boss" I bragged in a shrug and she gave a loud shout jumping on me in a big tight hug.

"Thank you! Thank you!! Thank you!!!" She yelped tightening her hold on me.

"Okay okay, I didn't find her just to get straggled to death" I croaked and she pulled away in a giggle.

"I can't believe you've found her"she beamed.

"Am beginning to think you don't know exactly who I am... I get what I want when I want it and besides that ain't what we ought to talk about now what we should be talking about now is my reward" I smirked winking at her.

"Mmm... Reward?... What do you mean by reward?" She just had to play dumb.

Like common, a little kid would have gotten my message.

"You seriously don't get what am saying??"

"Ohhh I get it now... Here you go!" She say placing a peck on my cheek.

Huh...

"Just that?"

"Yea, what else?" She shrug.

"Okay then, I'll show you" I say twirling her around till she landed softly on the bed while I was above her.

"Now this is how you say thank you to a guy who needs one" I teased resting my lips coaxingly on hers not giving her a chance to say another word.

Our tongue got intertwined together as they fought for dominance. It was indeed an intense hunger expressing kiss

We kissed for a while and I reached for her top but just then a knock came from the door disrupting us.

I ignored it and continued with what I was after but then the knock came again but louder.

Who the f**k is that??!!

"Sir you have a visitor!" A voice came.
Sir??, who the hell call's me sir?"

"F**k off, am busy!" I snapped going back to what I was doing but suzzy pushed me off slightly with both her hands on my chest.

"You should go, it must be urgent" she urged.

"But..."

"No buts just go!!" She continued and with an exasperated groan, I went for the door.

"What!!" I snapped as I pulled the door open only for me to see a pair of glasses staring nervously at me.

He did look new and seemed like those new nerd technician who got in newly.

"Well sir I.. I came to inform you that the 'Bastone' is here" he reported.

Wait... What did he just say?? 😳😳

"What!.. Dad's here?" I asked and he nodded, "how long have he been here??" I asked.

"Its been a while sir"

"Okay go tell him I would be there in a jiffy" I say walking in but stopped after realizing something.
"And oh... Don't call me sir, am boss got it?!!"

"Okay sir... Sorry okay boss" he say and I slammed the door.

"Your dad's here??" Suzzy asked as I walked in.

"Yes I would be back soon" I answered shuffling through the cupboard in search of some things.

"Okay then, be careful"she said and I said a simple okay before shutting the door.

As I walked through the hall the thought just kept ringing...
Why exactly would dad be here??

Dad would only come if maybe there's a serious issue that needs proper investigation.

Argh!!.. The old man better have something reasonable to tell me.

I got there only for me to find Dad sitting on a sofa with his legs crossed on the centre table.

"Welcome dad!" I say announcing my presence.

He raised his head to look at me then went back to looking at his magazine.

"Finally you came I had thought I would be spending the night here since you refused to show up" he snorted and I just rolled my eyes flopping down on a sofa.

"Am here now dad so let's just go straight to the point" I say

He suddenly looked back at me then placed the book aside.
"Why the rush son?, you've always been the slow type haven't you?, slow in learning slow in action and every thing else so why rush now?" He said and I gave no reply just looked the other way in a huff.

"Anyways, am here because of just one thing and that's your inability in capturing the mystery boss or whatever you call him and also what plans do you have concerning the new drug on ground?'" He asked and I sighed

"Am working on it dad" I simply replied.

"Argh!, there's the bloody sentence I hate, 📣am working on it📣 how long would it take you to finally finish working on it" he scowled.

"Uhm...not too long I guess, well if you must know, I've currently gotten the location of one of the secret hideout of the guy and I have two of his men so yeah am working on it" I sneered.

"Oh wow, I guess you would be expecting an award now right. You have just the location of one his hideout and not actually his hideout and you also have just two of his men and you just sit there telling me you're working on it... Do I really have to do every single damn thing for you" He allege and I remained quiet trying all possible means to keep my cool for I know all the benefits I would get if I do keep my cool and just ignore this old man and his unbearable ranting.

"Anyways...(arranges his collar) am not here just to scold you but to get something's straight"

"Am aware you've got that Guy's men but that's not what you should be looking out for now. Yeah you've got to get the guy but then what about the drug, do you think it would be sitting some where waiting for you?.... hell no!!"

"I want to believe you already know about the dinner party coming up just a day from now, and I also want to believe you've made plans for it or haven't you?" Dad asked and I just nodded.

I seriously didn't wanna say a word to him, I just want him to round up with his s**t while I go get on with my life.

"Good,now I can also believe you know who would and who wouldn't be attending right?" He probed annoyingly.

"Yes I already know all that dad, i know all there's to know about the drug and soon enough I would get all the info on that pathetic guy and then I would get his head" I vowed with all intensity and shockingly dad laughed.

"I don't expect much from you, my dear son... You had all the time in the world to get him but you failed so we would see who gets him or not" dad said and I couldn't help but stare in anger.

"What?!!..." I barked but just immediately there was a crash from outside as if of a breaking glass and later sound of struggling followed.

📣What the hell do you think you're doing?? spying on the boss huh??"📣

The door pushed open and snakes came in pulling along ... That same nerdy technician.

"What in the bloody hell is going on?!!!" I lashed and snakes pushed him forcefully making him land in front of me.

"I caught him ease dropping on you boss, he seems to be a secret spy" snakes declared and I stared angrily at the guy who trembled on my feet.

I've had enough with all this dumb spies, this guy is surely not gonna go free like the last guy.

That's A Promise.. 😠😡

"Until we meet again" Kelvin whispered to himself as he watched the taxi carry Olive away and just like the cool breeze she was gone leaving just memories.

He smiled patting on his lips gently and in a coax way.

"She kissed me" he mumbled to himself in a slow amused manner.

He stared up again and suddenly felt weak within. He remained fixed to one spot like all part of him went numb.

All what he did was reminisce on everything that occurred between them both, from the very first day they met and down to this moment and it all dawned on him... ' This was all fate's handy work '

It made them meet and somehow love came into their midst and now fate just had to sperate them.

Why was fate testing them so cruelly❔

He couldn't just understand and to talk of his feelings.

What exactly does he really feel for the girl?
Could it be Lust...
Attraction...
Or just a mere affection for a friend
Or even worst...
could it be love??

What ever it was, he knew with no doubts that some kind of feelings was there but figuring it out at the moment was nothing but useless.

It was too late to figure any sort of feelings.

He had better just let it all slide and move on.

He finalised walking off with his hoody over his head and his back pack firmly hanging across his left shoulder.

💫💫💫💫💫💫💫💫💫💫💫💫💫💫

Loud echoes of music could be heard from a short distance and Kelvin knew already he was close to his destination.

On getting there he was met with various brands of cars parked in front of a building which served as the place were the booming sound came from and there was a line with people waiting to get in.

Judging from the look of the whole place, you would easily know it was a typical bar with the disco lights glowing from inside and the huge all black dressed bouncer who stood in front of the rope blocking entry.

Kelvin strolled off to the back of the line waiting for his turn and finally it was his turn.

"Your ticket" the bouncer beakoned to him and he reached for his pocket bringing out a little rectangular card which he handed over to him.

The bouncer hesitated abit staring at him suspiciously before finally collecting the card.

He stared at it for awhile and within some seconds a knowing smirk rested on his face and he lifted the rope then stepped aside.

Kelvin took the card from him and then he spring in casually with his gangster mood on.

"Your ticket" the bouncer went on, attending to another.

The booming music was even much more louder on getting inside and various stripers and other performances could be seen swaying, twisting and banging their hips to the music trying all possible means in getting the attention of the spendthrift men who threw money recklessly at them.

Kelvin used his eyes to search for the guy he was here for and he didn't look any further, he had seen the man and there he was seated by the VIP area making out with three hot ladies

"Hello Robby" kelvin called announcing his presence and the guy snapped his head at him away from the lips of one of the lady and he beamed a wide smile as soon as he saw Kelvin.

"Oh wow, look who we've got here, kelvin, buddy, long time no see man" The Robby guy said in amusement.

"Okay ladies, I think we gotta pick this up later, alright??" He smug placing kisses on each of the three ladies.

"Run along now!" He chirped spanking on one's butt and she giggled scrambling out but not after winking at kelvin who just rolled his eyes at her.

Disgusting wh**es... He thought to himself.

"You never change, still the ladies Robby" Kelvin acknowledged.

" hahahaha.....It is what it is man, Am addicted to bi***es and there's nothing I can do about it.. come on, come have a seat" he beckoned and Kelvin did sitting beside him.

"So what brings you to this side of the barn?" The Robby guy asked emptying a glass of pure whiskey into his mouth.

Taking a good look at him you would notice how ruggedly dressed he was, with his tattoo that covered his whole right arm which wasn't so hard to notice due to the way his sleeves were rolled up over his elbow and his shirt was slightly buttoned down revealing his upper chest and then looking over to his ear and head you would see he wore earrings and had a well organised dread locks so yeah, he's a thug but in a higher class and he was quite good looking.

Kelvin reached for his bag bringing out his file and then he slammed it lightly in front of Robby.

He picked them up taking a good look at it.

"Robby do you remember when we were kids, we made a promise to help each other in time of needs well, I think I really need one right now" kelvin recounted.

"Mmm.... "Robby hum'ed still searching through the papers. "I see this is data of a mission, am I correct??"

"Yea you are, an essential one in fact"

"Alright then, you should know you're my buddy, come on man am here for you, so what exactly would you be needing" Robby enquired.

Kelvin pulled forward adjusting himself properly.
"Okay here's the main deal, there's gonna be a supply of the new trending drug and am gonna be needing weapons and allies that would you know assist me of some kind and once we've gotten possession of the drug, you would get your share and I get mine." Kelvin explained and Robby gave it all a thought and finally he smirked in approval.

"That's a pretty good deal I must say.... count me in" he threw his hand at kelvin gesturing for an hand shake which showed the beginning of their ally.

Kelvin and Robby took a stroll down to the underground basement, the bar's underground basement to be precise.

"Here we've got 'THE R***R 57' seized 173, one of the pin on gun you would wanna use." Robby illustrated placing a pistol before Kelvin.

Kelvin picked it up gently taking a proper and thorough look at it.

"And when we talk about ultimate silencers we talk about 'MUFFLES' one of the best silencers at the moment and lastly my personal favorite 'THE SMITH AND WESSON' and they are... (Pushing them closer to kelvin) ALL YOURS" Kelvin smiled at the beauties that were displayed in front of him, he was sure gonna use them well.

"Nice, but am just gonna be needing two, I guess I would be going with this (muffler) and this (Rudger 57)" kelvin asserted stuffing the two guns in his waist band.
"Thanks so much man, i really appreciate it" he thanked him by giving him a shoulder - to - shoulder casual boy shake.

"Anytime man and least I forget, Roy!, Mort!, where you all at?, its time for action" Robby called out to no one in particular and two well built men came running with back packs.

Kelvin gave them both an hand shake and in no time, they bounced out fully prepared and ready for action.

🐈OLIVE'S POV 🐈

"Dad what's he doing here??" I kept asking but they both just stared without giving an answer.

"Wow Olive, you– how... Wow, where on earth have you been all this while?" Roland said walking further inside.

"That's really not your business but I just wanna know what you're doing here" I say as calmly as I could.

Only God in heaven knows how angry and disgusted I am just staring at this guy.

"Olive darling I just need you to calm down and listen to me" dad say and I turned sharply at him.

"Yeah am calm, calm as the sea and am listening" I drawled sarcastically.

Dad heaved a sigh before saying.
"I know you are mad and all but my dear, you really don't have to now, Roland here, has really been of great help to me through out the period of your absence. He practically came running the moment he heard you had been abducted and remember you asked me earlier why I was in this condition?"

"Well I was struck with partial stroke due to the stress of all what happened and I almost died" dad explained leaving me shocked.

"What??" I exclaimed feeling fear and shock run through my spine.

"Yeah I would've been died long ago but all thanks to Roland here, am fine and also my company was having a major break down but yet again, he supported me by granting me a loan which...."

"What the heck??" I squealed in utter disbelief and shock.
"You took a loan from... From him??" I pointed accusingly at Roland.

"Yes olive I did"

"Wow... Just wow!!" I fanned my self anxiously with both my hand because for an extremely crazy reason, the place sort of felt hot.

"Listen cup cake, I had to, its either that or I watch my company crumple right before my eyes and also, I was in great need of help in finding you and Roland was just the right person at the moment" dad explained further.

"But dad, you should know this guy is nothing but a cruel, selfish scum bag and you know very well all what he did to me but you still went ahead in associating with him"

"Olive I..." Roland was gonna complete his statement but I was quick to stop him.

"Excuse me mister, i know you must have done a lot for my dad and all that and am indeed grateful but still that doesn't give you any right to interfere in our business so would you mind staying shut or better still could you kindly take your leave" I urged gesturing towards the door.

"Would you quit being rude to the young man and just hear him out?" Dad lashed at me.

"Its okay sir, I totally understand how she feel's and I definitely can't blame her, I came to check up on you and now I think I should take my leave" Roland assert.

"Better!" I snorted

"Olive!!" Dad yelled back at me.

"Am happy you're back home safe Olive I know you won't ever forgive me but I want you to know am no longer the old Roland you used to, am changed now" he cooed and I scoffed

"Yea yea I know, bye – bye now " I nudged rudely and impatiently.

"Okay bye Sir" He gestured a goodbye to dad before casting me a last stare then after that, he walked out.

I turned to dad and he just stared at me disappointedly like I had done something bad or something.

"Don't give me that look dad, you know what I did wasn't wrong" I stated confidently, crossing both my arms in a huff.

He didn't say a word, just kept staring with that same peeved off look.

Seriously? 😐😑

"Fine since you ain't quitting that am gonna go have dinner now, excuse me." I say walking off to the kitchen.

I needed something to distract me from being all angry.

Gosh... I never expected to see the face of that guy ever again.

In the most secluded and deserted place in San – Diego far from where the normal mortals dwells, a well constructed building could be seen.

It wasn't just any building, it was something beyond all that normal stuff.

Fully grown, muscular bodied men were seen patrolling around with their dark shady sunglasses and their perfectly fitted tuxedos making them all look like cool detectives.

They each had black air pods placed nicely on their ears which they used for communicating.

You definitely need no one to tell you they were all body guards and brutal men.

Moving further, you could see more men dressed in same uniform as the others and the whole place reeked nothing but terror but still looking at it in a total different perspective, you would notice the luxury of the whole place.

From the expensive Wallpaper down to the ceramic floors and the various diamond, gilded and expensive furniture beautifying the whole place.

Then going further, there was the most secured and secluded place in the whole building which was known as the.... 💀"Don's cave "💀.

Right there in the middle of the dark big hall, was a big throne like chair which had the one and the only.. Don sitting on it.

He sat causally on it with both his legs crossed on top the armrest of the chair.

He was cloaked with a black mask covering all part of his face, making his face unseen and in his hand was a sharp small dart in which he twirled in his fingers simultaneously.

"Go on!!" He echoed in his deep authoritative voice that no matter how calm he had spoken, he still sounded so damn scary.

"Yes Don, here with me is the current detail of the newly improved baccy you want. Its being transported down here as we speak by Master Yu laing kook" one of the Don's men asserted.

"Good and am sure Jason is gonna go after it... Won't he??"

"Yes Don, reports came from one of the undercover spy in section 5 that he's actually planning on it and also Don, there's an evening party coming up and the reports has been proven that all the top dogs would be attending, including Jason and the China investor"

'"Is that so??"' He drawled shooting the dart across the room and it travelled swiftly and accurately hitting one of Jason's PIC that hanged on the far end of the room.

"Okay then, go get your men ready, is time to pay an old friend a visit.... For our long wait is slowly coming to a bad, painful end" Don declared and then his loud echoing cackles followed filling up the room like a maniac.

This was surely the beginning of a new reign of terror and it isn't something funny... At all. 😠😬😡

🍭 Olive's POV 🍭

The smile on my face remained glued to my face not wanting to leave even for a second, it just played and explored on it making my world and everything around light up.

Is this how being in love feel's ❔❔

It capture's you all of a sudden without giving you a chance to think twice and once it has you as his hostage, he takes charge over your senses and internal being.

I just kept staring at Kelvin smiling sheepishly, not caring to pay a single attention to what ever was happening and the people around, riding their bikes, driving their vehicles.

Were they even there? Well I don't care to know as long as I was with this young man by my side.

I certainly don't care, all what matters to me was him and him only. 😌

I snuggled myself up more cozily around his arm, taking in his warmth, am in love with this guy and am so happy I realised it but then.... does it really matter now.

We would be going our separate ways in no time so would my love even matter anymore?

I shivered the moment the cool breeze danced over the surface of my skin.

Yeah I shivered, but not because I was cold but because of the realization of the true fact that hit me, very hard and not even for the first time.

This was our last moment together and just from today I won't see him anymore and then I would definitely have to forget ever knowing him or worst... Ever loving him. 😱

Urgh... I don't feel so good. 😖😳😩

"Are you okay??" He cooed all of a sudden, snapping me back to present. I looked up at him to see him staring down at me with worried eyes.

"Uh.. Huh!.. Am good , really okay" I drawled way too awkwardly.

"Okay if you say so" he shrug and we continued strolling but then we got to a particular place where lots of moving vehicles, bikes, taxis and so on where seen.

"This is it Olive, I won't be going any further with you so it's all you now " he noted making me take a quick survey around the place.
We were definitely in the city now.

"Oh, I see" I croaked inaudibly, sliding my arm slowly away from his.
"So, we'll call it a farewell now huh?" I asked.

He gave a one sided smile, lifting my already lowered face to meet his.

"Hey, don't give that look, you should be happy you're gonna be seeing your family again, after a long time and it's not like am dying or something, we're still gonna meet again... Some day and soon" he nudged ,cooing the last words so confidently.

I stared up at him with this spark in my eyes, his words really touched me.
He really hoped we would meet again, he really did.

"Now let's get you a cab. Shall we??" He smiled beckoning for a taxi to pull over and the taxi actually did then he walked me over to it.

He pulled the back door open like a gentle man signalling me to walk in.

I walked to the entrance of the door but hesitated to walk in.

🔉Wait... Should I do it or maybe I shouldn't??

No it's wrong.
Or may be I should just do it.🔉

I kept contemplating with my thought on doing or not doing what I've got in mind.

Oh f**k it, this is my last chance and I ain't gonna waste it.
I shouldn't and I won't.

And so lovelies with that final discission, I spined around then out of the blue, I wrapped my arms around his neck and... Am sure you know what happened next.

Yeap... I kissed him.

At first he was shocked and hesitated to kiss me back but after a deep groan he wrapped his arm around my waist pulling me closer.

We kissed like it was gonna be our last and technically it was and believe me it was heavenly.

I melted away in his arm and my pain and burden also subsided as we kissed.

I felt so light on my feet and when I was sure I was satisfied, we pulled away slowly, breathing at slow steady intervals.

"Wow... That was... Quite something" Kelvin laughed and I just giggled.

"So uhmm... I guess its time to say goodbye now, we don't wanna keep the taxi man waiting " he say and I took my gaze to the taxi man to see him actually smiling at us.

"Oh okay then, good bye and take care" I said making my way into the car.

"Drive safely!" He said to the bus driver who had been grinning sheepishly all this while.

"Oky–docky!" He saluted playfully, igniting the key into the key hole, starting the engine.

"Take care of yourself okay?" Kelvin said to me and I just smiled and zoom, we drove off.

I stared at him from the back not wanting to take my eyes off him and he also stared all through till we were out of sight.

I heaved a sigh sitting back properly.

This is really it.

"You two make a good couple" the taxi man complimented staring at me from the rear view mirror and i just chuckled.

"You can say that again" I replied.

We are not a couple but i wish we were though....

The taxi pulled over right at my destination and I was just so over whelmed staring at the tall building in which I thought I would never see again.

Am finally home at last. 🙌
Gosh am so happy right now.

I pulled the door open and stepped out with a huge smile spread across my face.

"Good bye miss" I heard the taxi man and so I turned to exchange the gesture only for me to realise he was already zooming off.

But... I haven't paid for the fare.

Oh well, maybe kelvin did.

Kelvin... Am missing him so much already 😔

I made my way inside the building and towards the door but I was forced to just stop right on my track by the sight that greeted me.

It was dad, he was on a wheel chair and there was a lady dressed in a medical attire.
She seemed to be his nurse but what the hell happened to dad... My Dad.

"Dad!!" I called out to him and immediately he took his gaze right at me and then he paused.

He had a shocked, speechless expression on and am sure he couldn't believe his eyes.

"Olive?" He mumbled still staring at me surprised.

"Yes dad, am home. Your daughter is home" I croaked picking up my pace and in no time I was scouting next to him with my arms wrapped around him in an embrace.

"Oh sweetie, is this really you??" He asked tightening his hold around me passionately.

"Yes dad it's me, its really me" I say with my face already wet with tears.

" Are you okay? What happened to you? Where have you been? " dad blasted me with so many questions at once.

"Oh daddy, where am I gonna even start?" I cried and he patted my back breaking out from the hug.

"Oh sweetie, I thought I would never see you again" he cooed rubbing on my wet cheek.

"Me too dad, I thought I wasn't gonna see my precious dad again"

I sniffed trying to control my tears.

"Dad what happened to you??, why are you sitting on a wheel chair?" I asked staring at him.

"Am gonna tell you but first, I really have to know all what happened to you cup cake. I looked all over for you but it was to no avail, even the corps searched for you but still couldn't find you so you have to tell me, what happened to you?" He probed and I was left with no other choice than to explain it all.

"Okay I'll tell you..." I narrated briefly on all what happened and I could see the surprise and anger in dad's eyes.

"What?!!.... You mean , you've been living in a thug's hide out all this single time??" He barked and I just nodded slowly.

"Oh my God!!.. What the hell did they do to you, those fools would have to be arrested and punished, like immediately and right this minute" Dad barked even more dialing a number on his phone and trust me , I needed no two persons to tell me dad was actually calling the corps which would put kelvin, Mia, Max and the rest of them in great danger.

Dad has got quite an hot temper but no I can't let him do such a thing.😱😳

"No dad the thing is I...." I was about explaining things to him when out of the blue a voice boomed from behind disrupting me.

"Olive!!" That came the voice and when I finally turned to face who ever it was, I was left dumbfounded.

💭 What the hell is he doing here 💭 that was the first thing that came to my mind.

"Roland, you came just at the right time, come on in" Dad ushered him in leaving me in more awe and confusion.

"Wait what's going on here?, Roland what the hell are you doing here?" I snapped turning sharply to dad

"Dad what's he doing here??" I kept asking but they both stared at me not giving an answer ......

Sometimes eh I usually pray that God would give me the spirit of seriousness in what ever I do.

Please if you read this thing to the end , I just wanna pray for God's blessing on your life, you are blessed.🙇🙇 and please also pray for the spirit of seriousness on my life too.

Okay guys am not gonna give up on this story because I've put a lot of energy into writing it so biko pardon me and don't abandon me ( that's gonna be my routine) 🙏🙏..
