Meet Bruce Mayrock, a courageous 20-year-old student at Columbia University who brought global attention to the humanitarian crisis in Biafra.

He made the ultimate sacrifice, setting himself on fire in front of the United Nations headquarters in New York, to raise awareness.

While people were being massacred in Biafra, many were partying across Nigeria, and some were even snitching on Igbo people, handing them over to the military, but Bruce's selfless act will never be forgotten.

May his soul rest in peace.

🕯️ Biafra Heroes Remembrance Day

Today, we pause to remember the brave men, women, and children whose lives were lost during one of the most painful chapters in our history.

Their sacrifices, struggles, courage, and resilience will never be forgotten. As we honor our fallen heroes, we also reflect on the lessons of unity, justice, peace, and the value of human life.

May their memories continue to inspire future generations to build a society where understanding triumphs over division and where peace prevails over conflict.

🕊️ We remember. 🕊️ We honor. 🕊️ We reflect.

"A people who remember their history preserve the legacy of those who came before them."

BBC wants to release a documentary titled “Surviving Biafra.”

They want to paint Igbos as villains, but that narrative will never stand.

The title should be “Surviving Nigeria.” You cannot call it “Surviving Biafra”

Biafran were victims of pogroms in Northern Nigeria, and victims of war criminals who starved 3 million Igbo children to death.

BBC labeled the 1966 coup an “Igbo coup” and helped shape narratives that fueled hostility against Ndi Igbo.

They also underreported the number of Igbo people massacred in the North.

They are not the right people to tell Igbo stories.

And of course, they choose a Yoruba filmmaker to make the documentary.

Whenever they want to push propaganda against Ndi Igbo, there is always an Onye Ofe mmanu that is willing to help carry it out.

Take your time and listen carefully to what Dim Odumegwu Ojukwu said about the Aburi Agreement and why he declared Biafra.

Everyone should understand this for historical purposes and to know what truly happened.
