The person(s) taking the oath (swearing that the contents of the document are true) must:
1) Sign the document in the presence of the Commissioner
2) Present an original piece of government issued photo identification - e.g., a valid driver's licence, passport, etc. (copies are not accepted)
3) The document must be complete before signing - no information can be added after the Commissioner has signed and stamped the document

PH Embassy Conducts Its First Regular Consular Mission for 2023 in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah
12 March 2023 - The Philippine Embassy in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, successfully conducted its first Regular Consular Mission for 2023 in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah from 06 to 10 March 2023.
During its five-day regular consular mission, the Embassy team processed more than 1,250 applications for passport, birth registration, notarial, and travel documents.
In consultation with the Sabah authorities, the Philippine Embassy has continued implementing an appointment system to provide its applicants with safe, comfortable, and efficient service. The Embassy requests the continued cooperation of the Filipino community in Sabah to strictly follow the appointment system for the benefit of the general public.
The schedules for the Embassy’s succeeding regular consular missions, including the re-opening of its appointment system for the said missions, will be announced by the Embassy in due course. END
