Strengthening Industry Excellence Through Strategic Collaboration

SIRIM Berhad is pleased to announce a strategic collaboration with the Contact Centre Association of Malaysia (CCAM) during the National Contact Centre Conference 2026.

Puan Sabarina Harun, Group Chief Operations Officer and Covering Group Chief Sales and Marketing Officer of SIRIM Berhad, received the Certificate of Strategic Collaboration on behalf of SIRIM from Mr Kevin Christie, Executive Committee Member of CCAM and Pillar Committee Lead – Standards and Best Practices.

Through this collaboration, SIRIM will support CCAM members with a comprehensive range of audit, training and consulting services covering key standards and industry frameworks, including:

✅ ISO 18295 – Customer Contact Centres
✅ ISO/IEC 27001 – Information Security Management
✅ ISO/IEC 42001 – Artificial Intelligence Management System
✅ ESG Reporting & Verification (SIRIM 55)

This strategic initiative reflects a shared commitment towards strengthening operational excellence, data security, ethical AI adoption and sustainable business practices across Malaysia’s contact centre industry.

SIRIM Berhad was honoured to welcome Ts. Hajah Zuraini Muda, Director of Malaysia’s Advanced Technology Training Centers (ADTEC) together with 13 delegates and officers from ADTEC JTM campuses in Shah Alam, Taiping and Pasir Gudang for an educational visit to SIRIM Shah Alam.

The delegation was briefly welcomed by Tuan Nik Sazali Nik Hussin, Acting President and Group Chief Executive Officer, SIRIM Berhad prior to the commencement of the visit.

The programme included a Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) discussion led by Dr. Mohd Bakri Jali, Acting Chief Executive Officer, SIRIM Academy as well as a visit to the Life Sciences Centre, Industrial Research, led by Dr. Nurul Izzah, Director of Life Sciences Centre.

Delegates also visited the SIRIM Gallery to gain deeper insights into SIRIM’s legacy, roles and contributions towards the nation’s industrial and technological development.
