Amazing Experience and lots of sightings!

Such a fantastic experience! The reserve itself is beautiful and we saw so much! A total of 19 different species on this trip! Amazing! We had wonderful views of a male flanged orang utan, the rare black flying squirrel and even rarer rough necked moniter (we saw TWO of these on the same tree!) a leopard cat, slow loris, Colugo, green broadbill, civets and much more!

The spotting truck was extremely comfortable, even on very rough roads, by far the most comfortable safari vehicle im ever been in!

Hamid, our guide was excellent and gave us so much information as well as being incredible and finding wildlife.

We really can't thank Adventures Alternative Borneo enough for organizing such an amazing experience! Staff were lovely, accomadation simple but clean & comfortable and food was delicious with no issues for our veggie/vegan friends! We will be back!

Top tips:
It was SO worth it but the drive from Sandakan to the reserve is long, windy and bumpy. If you're prone to motion sickness take tablets and wear the ear patches, they help! Those in our group who are not prone to suffering from it were fine however! Also take plwnty of tissues and take advantage of ALL the loo stops! They can be few and far between!

All in all, 5 stars! Highly recommend!

Amazing Dermakot with AAB!
Couples
We had a wonderful time with AAB:
Alternative Adventure Borneo.

The guide and the driver spotted lots of wildlife: monkeys, civets, birds, the urang - utang were amazing!

So were the pigmy elephants.

The night rides were very fruitfull too.
Our guide Mack was knowldgable, and very helpfull
