Held in conjunction with Energy Regulatory Insights (ERI) 2026, the Regulators’ Lunch brought together senior energy regulators from Singapore, Australia, Thailand and the Philippines for a closed-door exchange on emerging regulatory challenges, experiences and practical approaches shaping the future of energy.

The dialogue explored five key perspectives encompassing emerging technologies, grid resilience, evidence-based decision-making, market and regulatory reform as well as transparency and governance, with a focus on sharing practical lessons and strengthening regulatory readiness for an increasingly complex energy landscape.

Through continued regulator-to-regulator engagement, ERI 2026 reinforces the importance of collaboration, knowledge exchange and forward-looking regulation in supporting a resilient, competitive and sustainable energy future.

ENERGY REGULATORY INSIGHTS (ERI) 2026 | DAY 2

Energy Regulatory Insights (ERI) 2026 came to an impactful close yesterday, wrapping up two fruitful days of high-level discourse, regional collaboration and visionary ideas for the energy sector.

Building on the theme “Energy Reform, Powering Growth”, Day 2 delved into Malaysia’s energy transition progress, future-proofing regulatory frameworks and regional regulatory cooperation across ASEAN and beyond.

The discussions also placed strong emphasis on consumer protection, workforce competency, technical safety and the strategic roadmap ahead for an equitable and resilient energy future.

A special highlight of the day was the official booth tour by our distinguished VIPs and delegates, exploring innovative solutions, cutting-edge initiatives and industry advancements showcased by our partners.
