MMW26 Satellite Event | Experience Maritime Life in Sarawak

The maritime story continues beyond Kuala Lumpur.
As part of Malaysia Maritime Week 2026 (MMW26), the Sarawak Maritime Academy will be hosting a satellite event, “Experience Maritime Life in Sarawak”, on 15 September 2026.

The event features a forum/seminar, live demonstrations, and an exhibition, giving participants a chance to explore the maritime sector from a Sarawak perspective.

The awards recognise individuals who have made outstanding contributions to Malaysia’s maritime sector through leadership, innovation, service, research, sustainability, safety and other areas of excellence.

Meaningful conversations and active participation were at the heart of yesterday's gathering at the MASA Office.
On 12 August 2026, the MASA Executive Committee came together for a management meeting to review ongoing activities, discuss key priorities, and chart the course for the months ahead. The meeting was followed by the MASA Annual General Meeting 2026, where members were updated on the Association's progress and plans.

A heartfelt thank you to all members who attended and contributed to the discussions. Your insights, feedback, and candid views are invaluable in helping MASA remain relevant, responsive, and effective in serving the industry. The strength of MASA has always been its members. We appreciate your continued support and look forward to working together to advance Malaysia's maritime sector.
