Sports Industry Division (SID) What is SID? SID is the Ministry of Sports & Youth, Sports Industry Division, which has been formed to focus on the business aspect of Sport. Please contact us.

This is an initiative spearheaded by YB Dato Sri Ahmad Shabery Cheek to finally develop the Ministry of Sports & Youth into a net contributor to Malaysia’s GDP. Today Sports is big business as countries and cities bid to host International events with the knowledge that the multiplier effect can benefit the economy. Supporting these sporting events are specialized skills and industry covering, spo

rts law, corporate hospitality, sponsorship, event management, manufacturing, stadia architecture, sports marketing and so on……

All these industry/business emanating from sport is the priority of Sport Industry Division as we aim to help grow it further. It is well held belief that the bigger and market driven the Sport Industry is in Malaysia, invariably the better the performance of sport shall come.
