As Kiwanis Club of Taman Tun Dr. Ismail (KITT) enters its 30th year, we reflect on a meaningful journey marked by growth, resilience, and renewed spirit. Over the decades, the club has experienced different seasons—from vibrant years filled with impactful activities and strong fellowship, to quieter phases of reduced momentum.
In recent years, however, the club has seen a refreshing revival. With the involvement of new, energetic members and the continued commitment of long-standing Kiwanians, KITT is once again rising with purpose and enthusiasm. The future looks promising.
In conjunction with our 30th Anniversary celebration, the club organised a Retreat from 25–26 October at Cyberview Resort. Nearly all members were present, making it a valuable and meaningful gathering.
The retreat was designed with three key objectives:
Education & Induction
To orient and induct new members while refreshing the understanding of Kiwanis values, operations, and mission among existing members.
Team Building & Fellowship
To strengthen bonds, deepen trust and camaraderie, and bridge friendships between long-serving and newer members.
Planning for the Future
To brainstorm and develop programmes and activities that will continue to drive KITT’s impact in the coming term and beyond.
The retreat served not only as a platform for planning, but also as a reminder of who we are—a community of people driven by service, compassion, and the belief that together, we can make a difference.
