TEGAS is a charitable trust that promotes TVET, STEM and Digital Entrepreneurship in Sarawak.

TEGAS was established in 2012 as a charitable trust dedicated to promoting TVET, STEM and Entrepreneurship in Sarawak. TEGAS is governed by the Board of Trustees, chaired by The Honourable Datu Haji Len Talif Salleh, Assistant Minister of Urban Development and Resources. Day 1: Startup54 Miri

19 June 2026 | Startup54 Miri officially kicks off today at TEGAS Digital Innovation Hub Miri, marking the beginning of an exciting entrepreneurial journey for 40 participants from I-CATS University College Miri and IBS College Miri.

The day starts with registration, networking, and 60-second idea pitches, where participants present their ideas and vote for the most promising concepts. Teams are then formed as ideas begin to take shape and Teams are then formed as ideas begin to take shape and evolve into potential startups.

Ideas are shared, teams are built, and the entrepreneurial journey begins. 🚀

Shell LiveWire Malaysia 2026 Sarawak Award Ceremony

19 June 2026 | The award ceremony was officiated at TEGAS Digital Village by YB Datuk Haji Len Talif Salleh, Deputy Minister for Urban Planning, Land Administration and Environment, Ministry of Natural Resources and Urban Development, Sarawak, and Chairman of TEGAS, joined by Ms. Cindy Lopez, Director of Corporate Relations, Shell Malaysia, and Haji Udin Bin Bujang, Chief Executive Officer of TEGAS.

Congratulations to the Top 5 winners of the Shell LiveWire Malaysia 2026 Sarawak Pre-Accelerator Programme: Landik, Roti Lazeez Enterprise, Senju Co, Stinablis Sdn Bhd, and Syarikat Gandaan Restu. Their achievement reflects strong innovation, resilience, and entrepreneurial excellence.

Shell LiveWIRE Malaysia 2026 Sarawak Pre-Accelerator Demo Day

19 June 2026 | The Demo Day brought together the Top 10 entrepreneurs as they took the stage to present their ideas, showcasing innovation, resilience, and entrepreneurial passion developed throughout the programme.

Shell LiveWire Sarawak Bootcamp

15 June 2026 | In partnership with Shell Malaysia, the Shell LiveWire Sarawak Bootcamp brought together aspiring innovators and entrepreneurs from 15–19 June 2026 at TEGAS Digital Village.

The 5-day programme provided a structured platform to strengthen entrepreneurial thinking through structured learning, mentorship, and applied development, supporting the growth of a more resilient and future-ready innovation ecosystem.

13–14 June 2026 | 25 entrepreneurs came together for a 2-day packed with learning, sharing, and leveling up at TEGAS Digital Village, Kuching. From funding opportunities to fundraising strategies and business financing, participants dove into real-world case studies, interactive discussions, and practical insights to strengthen their business growth journey.

TEGAS Staff Join Maal Hijrah 1448H Fun Ride

14 June 2026 - Eight members of the TEGAS Staff Club participated in the Maal Hijrah 1448H Fun Ride organised by the The Masjid Negeri Sarawak Charitable Trust (LAKMNS).

The ride began at Baitul Makmur and included a stop at Masjid Ikhwanul Islam, Taman Sukma, reflecting the spirit of togetherness and shared values in conjunction with the Maal Hijrah celebration.

14 Jun 2026 - Seramai lapan ahli Kelab Kakitangan TEGAS Sarawak telah menyertai Program Kayuhan Santai Maal Hijrah 1448H anjuran Lembaga Amanah Kebajikan Masjid Negeri Sarawak (LAKMNS).

Kayuhan bermula dari Baitul Makmur dan singgah di Masjid Ikhwanul Islam, Taman Sukma, sekali gus mengeratkan silaturahim serta menyemarakkan semangat kebersamaan bersempena sambutan Maal Hijrah.

Gawai Day Celebration at TEGAS Digital Village

12 June 2026 - The Ngajat performance around the Ranyai was one of the highlights of the Gawai Day celebration at TEGAS Digital Village. In Iban tradition, the Ranyai, also known as the Tree of Life, is decorated with food and drinks as a symbol of gratitude, shared blessings, harmony, and community togetherness.

This spirit of togetherness was reflected as TEGAS staff and tenants of TEGAS Digital Village came together in a joyful gathering, made even more meaningful with a potluck feast and karaoke session.

The celebration also reflected the spirit of unity and appreciation for the rich cultural diversity that makes Sarawak unique.

12 Jun 2026 - Persembahan Ngajat mengelilingi Ranyai menjadi antara kemuncak sambutan Hari Gawai di TEGAS Digital Village. Dalam tradisi masyarakat Iban, Ranyai atau pokok kehidupan dihiasi dengan pelbagai makanan dan minuman melambangkan kesyukuran, perkongsian rezeki, keharmonian dan semangat kebersamaan dalam komuniti.

Semangat kebersamaan itu jelas terserlah apabila warga kerja TEGAS dan para penyewa TEGAS Digital Village berkumpul dalam suasana penuh keceriaan yang turut dimeriahkan dengan juadah potluck dan sesi karaoke.

S**T Fair 2026: Enhancing Employability

More than 32,000 visitors attended the 12th edition of the Sarawak Career and Training Fair (S**T Fair) 2026, the state's largest education and career exhibition, bringing together opportunities in education, skills development and employment under one roof.

Through MYFutureJobs x S**T Fair, 40 employers offered 2,107 vacancies, resulting in 1,430 interviews, 592 second interviews and 73 successful job placements.
