📖✨ Have you ever started writing something… only to discover that the story you were really writing was your own? ✨📖

This September, Europe in Cinema turns the page on a delightful new story with the award-winning 🎬 from Hungary 🇭🇺, Véletlenül írtam egy könyvet (I Accidentally Wrote A Book), directed by Nóra Lakos.

The movie will be screened
📌 on Tuesday the 15th of September 2026 at 8 pm
📌at GSC Quill City Mall – Level 5, Hall 10

Here's the trailer: https://vimeo.com/1093051299, and here you can reserve your seats 🎟 : https://bit.ly/EIC_Sept

Meet Nina, a 12-year-old girl with dreams of becoming a writer. But as she begins putting her thoughts on paper, something unexpected happens: writing opens the door to her family's past, to memories of the mother she lost, and ultimately to a deeper understanding of herself. And, of course, growing up wouldn't be growing up without a little first love along the way! Blending live action and animation, “I Accidentally Wrote a Book” transforms Nina's everyday experiences, imagination and emotions into a wonderfully creative celebration of storytelling — and of all the messy, funny, painful and beautiful moments that come with growing up.
🏆 And audiences and juries have fallen for it too! The film picked up multiple international awards in 2025, including the Golden Apple, Audience Award and Jury Award for Best Feature Film at the Zlín International Film Festival for Children and Youth.

👨‍👩‍👧 Bring the family, bring a friend — or simply bring the part of you that remembers what it felt like to be 12. Join us for a charming evening of cinema and discover how, sometimes, finding the words to tell a story can help us find ourselves too. ✍️💫
