*AGENDA PEMBANGUNAN EKONOMI MUSLIM - APEM 4.0 @ KUALA LUMPUR – CONCEPT MEETING*
Assalamualaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuh,
*Liga Muslim, PERMIM, PRESMA, MAWAR, MIMCOIN, together with other Indian Muslim NGOs and Youth entrepreneurs*, are collaborating on this initiative.
Alhamdulillah, a successful concept planning meeting was held at Sunrise Hotel (Syed Bistro), Petaling Jaya, on 23 May 2026 (Saturday), from 10:00 AM to 12:00 noon
Introduction;
*Agenda Pembangunan Ekonomi Muslim (APEM)* is a strategic initiative aimed at *strengthening the *Muslim SME economic ecosystem in our IM traditionally strong Industries* through government machinery involvement , entrepreneurship, digital transformation, and youth business empowerment.
The initiative is driven through Liga Muslim Pulau Pinang since APEM 1.0 (2021) & 2.0 (2025).
*APEM 3.0 – Belia Penang (July 2026) [State Level]*
in Penang will serve as a platform bringing together Young SME entrepreneurs, & business women to engage with Kementerian Usahawan & Koperasi and other Kementerian government agencies and machineries with industry experts to present initiatives *For muslim SMEs to directly undertake oppotunities For their sustainable economic business development.*
*APEM 4.0 – KL (DATE : TO BE ADVISED) - National Level Agenda*
APEM 4.0 will be organised in Kuala Lumpur / Klang Valley as a larger national convention involving Kementerian Usahawan & Koperasi with other Key Ministries to engage muslim SMEs to sustain and increase business prospects and enable strategic industry participation.
*Conclusion*
*APEM 3.0 - Belia* in Penang tentatively scheduled in July 2026 represents an important platform for strengthening Muslim youth entrepreneurship, Businesswomen , digital economy participation and other key industry development.
*APEM 4.0 - KL is expected to become a larger national convention bringing together Goverment Agencies with NGOs such as Liga Muslim, PERMIM, PRESMA, MAWAR and MIMCOIN together with entrepreneurs, policymakers and industry leaders towards building a stronger, inclusive, sustainable and globally competitive Muslim economic ecosystem in Malaysia*.
