Did you realize there is a change in the BOMBA EFEIS License sticker on your fire extinguisher especially if you have your fire extinguishers serviced and licenses renewed this year?
In December 2021, BOMBA's EFEIS Licensing system went through a major change to incorporate QR code technology into the sticker license targeting to create a more seamless tracking of licenses for BOMBA's back-end operations.
Here's a quick explanation of the information on the stickers for your understanding:
1. Fire Extinguisher's Brand: UF = Unique Fire Holdings
2. Month and year of the cylinder = October 2020
3. Type of fire extinguisher = Y is for ABC Dry Powder
4. Serial no of the cylinder = 990044
5. Expiry date of the license = indicates the need to undergo annual service and license renewal
6. Location, address, postcode and state of the license
