Following the NRA Show, the Malaysian Rubber Council U.S Office completed a targeted market visit across the greater Chicago area and Wisconsin from May 20–22, 2026.
As premier manufacturing and logistics powerhouses, Chicago and the broader Midwest serve as a critical distribution hub for U.S. industrial supply chains. This visit gave us a practical opportunity to connect with local collaborators on the ground and better understand current regional sourcing, logistics, and material engineering needs.
Key Mutual Opportunities:
• Supporting Bedding Innovation: Our discussions with regional mattress manufacturers highlighted an increasing U.S. demand for premium, sustainable materials. Malaysian natural latex foam offers these brands a reliable, high-tier supply chain solution to meet evolving consumer trends.
• Strengthening Industrial Resilience: The Midwest’s robust manufacturing base requires precision-engineered components like custom gaskets, seals, and industrial hoses. Malaysian rubber manufacturers are well-positioned to bridge these material gaps with high-performing products.
