🎹 | Yesterday, Ambassador Krzysztof Dobrowolski welcomed representatives of the newly elected Committee of the Persatuan Chopin Malaysia (The Chopin Malaysia Society), a prestigious non-profit organisation that successfully carries the mission of promoting the artistic heritage of the famous Polish pianist Fryderyk Chopin, also by supporting talented young Malaysian musicians.

Among the topics discussed were plans for future cooperation between the Embassy and the Society.

We wish the Society continued success in their future endeavours!

🇵🇱🤝🇲🇾 | Yesterday, Ambassador Krzysztof Dobrowolski welcomed a delegation from the Wielkopolska Region (Greater Poland Voivodeship), which included high representatives of the Regional Parliament, the Office of the Marshal, cities of Odolany, Swarzędz, Gniezno and Konin as well as of innovative local companies, economic clusters and academia.

The meeting concluded Wielkopolska’s successful economic and scientific mission to the state of Sarawak and Kuala Lumpur, during which the delegation participated in the Asia Pacific Green Hydrogen Conference & Exhibition 2026 (APGH) in Kuching and held a series of meetings with Malaysian government agencies and research institutions, active in the fields of hydrogen technologies and sustainable development.

🏙️📖 | WHEN WARSAW MET KUALA LUMPUR

Can a city tell a story?

Yesterday at the Embassy of Poland, Warsaw certainly did.

The launch of "𝘜𝘳𝘣𝘢𝘯 𝘋𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘭𝘰𝘱𝘮𝘦𝘯𝘵 𝘰𝘧 𝘞𝘢𝘳𝘴𝘢𝘸: 𝘖𝘯 𝘢 𝘛𝘳𝘢𝘫𝘦𝘤𝘵𝘰𝘳𝘺 𝘰𝘧 𝘊𝘩𝘢𝘯𝘨𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘜𝘳𝘣𝘢𝘯 𝘓𝘢𝘯𝘥𝘴𝘤𝘢𝘱𝘦𝘴 – 𝘈 𝘊𝘰𝘮𝘱𝘢𝘳𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘷𝘦 𝘈𝘯𝘢𝘭𝘺𝘴𝘪𝘴 𝘸𝘪𝘵𝘩 𝘒𝘶𝘢𝘭𝘢 𝘓𝘶𝘮𝘱𝘶𝘳" brought together experts, academics and urban enthusiasts for a fascinating discussion on how cities rebuild, reinvent themselves and balance heritage with modernity.

The event formed part of the ongoing 𝗞𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗮 𝗟𝘂𝗺𝗽𝘂𝗿 𝗙𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗮𝗹, which celebrates ideas, culture and the urban experience through a series of public events across the city.

We were honoured to welcome:
👨‍🎓 Prof. Marek Kozłowski (Universiti Putra Malaysia) – urban designer and lead author of the publication
👩‍🎓 Assoc. Prof. Dr. Shureen Faris (Universiti Putra Malaysia) – specialist in landscape architecture and restorative environments
👩‍🎓 Prof. Katarzyna Wagner (Director, Museum of Warsaw; University of Warsaw) – historian specialising in the history and development of Warsaw
👨‍🎓 Prof. Hubert Kowalski (Director, Museum of the University of Warsaw; University of Warsaw Muzeum Uniwersytetu Warszawskiego) – archaeologist, historian and expert on cultural heritage

Judging by the many hands raised during the lively Q&A session, the audience was not ready to let the conversation end anytime soon.

👩‍🎓🇵🇱 | Yesterday, Ambassador Krzysztof Dobrowolski met with representatives of the Institute of Microelectronics and Photonics, belonging to the Łukasiewicz Research Network, at the Embassy of Poland in Kuala Lumpur.

The meeting with the delegation headed by Ph.D., D.Sc., Eng. Anna Szerling, Deputy Director for Research, focused on opportunities for cooperation in innovation, research and new technologies, as well as strengthening links between Poland and Malaysia in the field of science and development.

Poland continues to build international partnerships that connect knowledge, technology and people.

🇲🇾🤝🇵🇱 | Yesterday, Ambassador Krzysztof Dobrowolski made a call on Datuk Prof Dr Mohd Faiz Abdullah, Executive Chairman of Institute of Strategic and International Studies (ISIS) Malaysia.

The extremely valuable meeting was a chance to discuss not only the most pressing regional and global issues, but also prospects for cooperation between ISIS Malaysia and leading Polish think tanks.

🎹🌿 It’s time! Join us for the first live stream of a recital from the Birthplace of Fryderyk Chopin and Park in Żelazowa Wola!

The concert season in Żelazowa Wola began last weekend, and this week – on Sunday at noon – we will hear a broadcast of a recital by Vincent Ong, winner of the 5th prize (tied) at the 19th Chopin Competition. The artist will perform the Nocturne in G minor, Op. 15 No. 3, and the 24 Preludes, Op. 28.
