Menara Kuala Lumpur is the tallest telecommunications tower in Southeast Asia and the seventh tallest in the world and was built to improve the quality of telecommunications and broadcasting transmissions. Standing tall at 421 metres in the center of Kuala Lumpur city, it boasts a host of facilities such as the Sky Deck, Sky Box, Sky Café, Observation Deck, Revolving Restaurant (Atmosphere 360°), Megaview Banquet Hall for Meeting and Seminars/ Private Functions such as wedding, Mini Theater, Amphitheater, Blue Coral Aquarium, KL Tower Mini Zoo, KL Upside Down House, souvenir stalls, shuttle service, cafe and restaurants. Other attractions include the KL Tower Facade Lighting that utilizes a first-of-its-kind in the world exercise involves the lighting up of the whole tower, from the ground floor to the top of the antenna mast, with LED lights, enhancing not only the Tower but also the panoramic KL night skyline with vibrant colours. KL Tower is also the first tower in the world to be installed with such permanent light and sound technologies. Menara Kuala Lumpur is also a member ‘The World Federation of Great Towers’, which has a membership of more than 50 renowned towers in the world.
