Here, followers will be able to receive updates on events held by the MTFA alongside content highlighting the close ties between Malaysia and Thailand. Founded in 1998, the Malaysia-Thailand Friendship Association (MTFA) is a non-profit bilateral government organisation aimed at deepening the two countries’ harmonious ties. Through the MTFA, members of both nationalities are provided a forum in wh

ich they can forge closer ties through socio-cultural exchanges. With 2017 marking the 60th anniversary of the Malaysia-Thailand diplomatic relationship, the MTFA will host and participate in a series of events to showcase the close bond the two nations via informal socio-cultural bases.

Our deepest condolences to the people of Thailand on the sad passing of former Prime Minister, Council of Regent and Royal Privy, Yang Amat Berbahagia Tun Prem Tinsulanonda. His Excellency spent many decades of building and strengthening the bridges between our two great nations.
