Join us in welcoming our new colleague 🎉

Firoz Ehsan joined the Embassy as second secretary. Before taking up this post, he worked at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the Asia and Oceania department for three years, and previously spent several years working and studying in China. Drawing on his regional and thematic experience, he hopes to contribute to a deeper understanding of developments in Asia and to further strengthening the partnership between the Netherlands and Malaysia. 🇳🇱 🤝 🇲🇾

In his spare time, Firoz is a sports enthusiast. In addition to taekwondo and fitness, he enjoys experimenting with new sports and is always keen to try something different, whether it’s on the mat, on the court, or outdoors.

Last Saturday, we launched the MY Orange Alumni Network at the Ambassador Jacques Werner's residence, bringing together Malaysian alumni with connections to the Netherlands.

The afternoon was filled with lively conversations, a fun pop quiz testing everyone's knowledge of the Netherlands, and inspiring pitches from alumni showcasing their work and the impact they're making in their respective fields.

A wonderful start to a vibrant community for reconnecting, collaborating, and strengthening the ties between Malaysia and the Netherlands. Looking forward to more gatherings ahead!🌷
