On early of April, we started Economic empowerment program.
Our objective is to build and empower underprivileged people through business development, our target beneficiaries probably a B40 people, underprivileged, single mother or chronic patient caretakers.
Fortunately, we found Puan Nurul Hazreen from Endau, Johor. She's a women who taking care of her husband, which is stage 4 cancer patient. His husband received monetary help from Baitumal Johor RM500 per month.
Puan Nurul living cost is quite high, which she needs to take her husband and also her mother in law, since her father in law passed away. Her husband can't do heavy work due to his cancer complications.
TrusAlive started this EEP program with Puan Nurul by giving her loan to startup a small business, and later day by day, she got an opportunity to start run a small petshop based in Endau.
The petshop business comes with a good proposal and excellent pitch. TrusAlive directors are confindent on this project, which by analytics and financial forecasts, the petshop will give a good return investment for TrusAlive. Investment return will help us to expand more SME in future. Anyhow, we need to start somewhere.
It's a hard decisions to make during this pandemic season, where everyone believe and see that a lot of business are running down, closing and some companies declared bankrupt. A lot of companies a struggling to survive during this pandemic. Our aspirations doesn't stop us to believe, we will try our best to support Puan Nurul as much as we can.
The petshop name given, Little Ahmad Petshop.
We are so happy to see her progress, and our objective in this project to expand more this business to applicable beneficiaries.
TrusAlive will always support her good work, some profit of her business will go charity foundation in future and she also will develop an ecosystem of helping other people in Endau.
Currently, the shop is under renovation. The business will start as soon as possible. As petshop business is under essential business, Little Ahmad Petshop will coming soon!
