APTLD APTLD (Asia Pacific Top Level Domain Association) is an organisation for ccTLD (country-code Top Level Domain) registries in Asia Pacific region.

APTLD was originally established in 1998, and in 2003 legally established in Malaysia. APTLD works as the forum of information exchange regarding technological and operational issues of domain name registries in Asia Pacific region. Also, as an interface to other international Internet coordinating bodies, APTLD fosters and elevates participation of AP ccTLDs in these global fora, as well as actin

g in the best interest of APTLD members in global Internet policy making process. Objectives are:
- To promote skills development and information exchange related to Internet domain names amongst members.
- To provide a forum to discuss policy matters affecting Internet domain name related entities
- To act as an interface with Internet coordination bodies and other bodies involved in the Internet domain name operation

This is a 3-month regional programme by MCMC + ATRC, designed to build Geospatial AI (GeoAI) skills and solve real telecommunication challenges across ASEAN.

May 2026 Newsletter Edition of the GM Recap!

This edition primarily focuses on the preparations and promotion for in Mongolia, while also celebrating member achievements and regional Internet commuity activities.

In celebration of Internet Week and in line with APTLD’s “Internet for All” Statement, we selected several member highlights and regional activities featured in this edition and in connection with APTLD90 program, based on updates and materials shared through the Secretariat’s bi-weekly newsletters and member communications. Thanks Hannah for her support.

Please do not hesitate to reach out to us or the Secretariat directly regarding any topics you would like included in my next recap to share with the community. We would also be delighted to hear about your significant milestones so we can celebrate and share them with the wider APTLD community.
