On 25 July 2026, we visited the signature project of Rotary Club of Andaman, the Sea Turtle Conservation Center in Phang Nga. The Center is situated in the Naval base area and is being run by the Thai Navy.

We learned about the endangered habitat of the sea turtles and the efforts by the Center to help preserve the population of the sea turtles.

We felt privileged to take part in the release of the batch of 6 month old sea turtles. It was certainly an emotional moment to watch the baby turtles find their way to the sea and may they live for the next hundred years.

The Celebration Dinner of 11 Rotary Clubs in Phuket was held on Friday 24 July 2026. It was a special occassion attended by the District Governor of District 3330, DG Dr Chatchawal Wongwiwatwaitaya and also PDGs, DGN and various District officers.
Visiting Rotarians from Malaysia, Philippines and South Korea were specifically recognised with the parade of country flags and national anthems.

A big thank you to the Rotary Club of Andaman for inviting us to the celebrations and hosting our dinner. Congratulations to President Attaporn of Rotary Club of Andaman and all the best for the Rotary Year 2026/27.

Rotary Club of Andaman welcomes the members of Rotary Club of Bangsar and Rotary Club of Circuit Makati who travelled to Phuket from 23 July to 26 July to join the Celebration Dinner of Rotary Clubs in Phuket.

The welcoming dinner was held at the Thann Beach Club in Karon with a view of the sunset followed by a sumptuos dinner and a fire show on the beach.

A special birthday celebration was also held for PP Ruby from RC Circuit Makati. A very Happy birthday PP Ruby and best wishes.

Rotary Club of Bangsar renewed the Sister Club agreements with the Rotary Club of Andaman and Rotary Club of Circuit Makati on 25 July 2026 in the scenic setting of Saphan Hin in Phuket.

Our three Rotary Clubs have been Sister Clubs for about 20 years and have established a strong and lasting relationship over the years.

RC Bangsar honors the services and contributions of 2 outstanding individuals with the Vocational Service Award for 2025/26.
i. ASP Sugendaran A/L Krishnan. ASP Sugendaran has served over 15 years in the Royal Malaysian Police with experience in General Operations, Crime Investigation and police logistics management. He is recognised for his leadership, operational discipline, investigative expertise and commitment to public safety.
ii- Madam Apayama Sanassi. Commonly known as Chandra, she is a superb grassroot level coordinator with over 20 years of experience for the B40 community. She offers her time and expertise in the B40 community providing advice on how to seek funding for business purposes and how to optimise government fundings and benefits.

We salute the contributions of ASP Sugendaran and Chandra to the community and are glad to honour them.

On 30 June 2026, Rotary Club of Bangsar ended the Rotary Year 2025/26 with a BANG!
PART I
Induction of members of RCB Satellite Impactors Club, a new satellite club formed under the banner of RCB.
14 members formed the initial charter group of the RCB Satellite Impactors, comprising ex Rotaractors of RC Bangsar, Methodist College KL and friends of Rotarians. Rtn Sunny Yap is the Chairman whilst Rtn Jaishin is the Treasurer.
Welcome to the new members of Rotary and to Service Above Self!
Kudos to PAG Michael who spearheaded the formation of RCB Satellite Impactors.
