Duty never rests! Immediately following the conclusion of our State Annual Parade, our dedicated team transitioned straight from drill boots to frontline community service for the 59th deployment of the Ophthalmic Care Unit.

​Our volunteers rushed to Masjid Ar-Rahman, Pandamaran Jaya to serve members of the local community in need of vision care.

​Impact at a Glance:
- ​57 B40 community members received comprehensive eye screenings.
- ​51 individuals will be receiving free prescription glasses to improve their daily quality of life.

​🤝 A special note of appreciation goes to our State HQ senior officers, led personally by our State Commander, who stood shoulder-to-shoulder with our volunteers on the ground immediately after a demanding morning on the parade square.

​From marching grounds to community outreach, our commitment to humanity remains unwavering. Thank you to everyone who made this mission a success!

Echoing the proud traditions of military ceremonies, the St. John Ambulans Malaysia - Negeri Selangor Annual Parade stands as one of the most prominent highlights on our annual calendar.

​Beyond a display of drill precision and ceremony, today’s parade serves as a proud showcase of our members' rigorous training, dedication, and high morale.

​This year’s parade saw an exceptional turnout: over 340 rank-and-file members, led by 22 dedicated officers, proudly escorted the State and Area colors. Representing the Selangor State Headquarters and all six of its Areas, the contingent carried out a truly solemn, grand, and inspiring ceremony.

​🎖️In recognition of tireless service to our community, today’s ceremony also featured the presentation of Long Service Awards and official Officer Promotion Letters. We congratulate every recipient for their unwavering dedication and leadership.

​🙏We extend our heartfelt appreciation to YB Ganabatirau a/l Veraman, Member of Parliament for Klang, for gracing our event and supporting the spirit of volunteerism.

​Our sincere thanks also go to our respected counterparts from St. John Ambulans Malaysia - Wilayah Persekutuan Kuala Lumpur for their attendance, strong camaraderie, and continued support.

​To all commanders, presidents, officers, members, and supporters, thank you for making this year's Annual Parade an resounding success!

We are proud to share that St. John Ambulans Malaysia - Negeri Selangor has successfully completed our 58th Ophthalmic Care Unit Deployment!

​During this mission, a total of 31 students from B40 families underwent eye health screenings. Following the assessments, 16 students will be receiving free prescription anti-blue ray glasses to help support their learning and daily sight.

​Heartfelt thanks go out to the school management and teachers of SJK(C) Kah Wah, Banting for their seamless cooperation and assistance in organizing this deployment.

​A special word of gratitude to our dedicated volunteers from SJAM - Kawasan Selangor Barat, led by Dato' Jimmy Tan (Area President & School Director Board Chairman) and Tuan Ng Wee Chong (Area Commander), whose leadership and commitment made this impactful initiative possible.

​Together, we continue to serve our community and light up the future for our young minds! 🌟

St. John Ambulans Malaysia - Negeri Selangor was honored to participate in the recent Open Day at First City University College, Bandar Utama on 5th September 2026.

​Our dedicated team from the Ophthalmic Care Unit set up a booth to provide complimentary eye health screenings for students, parents, and visitors. Early detection is key to maintaining clear vision and preventing long-term eye conditions, and we are proud to support our local community through proactive healthcare initiatives.

​A big thank you to First City University College for the warm invitation, and to all our passionate volunteers from St. John Ambulans Malaysia - Kawasan Selangor Tengah Utara - SJAM KSTU who gave their time and expertise to make this outreach a success! 🤍
