Johor Corporation (JCorp) was established as a public enterprise and a statutory body via Johor Enactment No. 4 1968 (as amended under Enactment No. 5, 1995). As a State Investment Corporation, JCorp through its Group of Companies involves in core businesses encompassing Plantation Sector, Specialist Healthcare, Foods & Restaurants Services, Property Development, Support Services and Investment, H

ospitality, Entrepreneur Business as well as New Businesses. JCorp has since become a prominent player in several of its core businesses, particularly in Specialist Healthcare as well as Foods & Restaurants Services Sectors. The Plantation Sector has operations and business interests not only in Malaysia, but also in Indonesia, Papua New Guinea, Solomon Islands and United Kingdom. The Foods & Restaurants Services Sector spans Malaysia, Singapore, Brunei, Philippines, Cambodia and India. Meanwhile, the Specialist Healthcare Services Sector domestically spearheaded by JCorp has been expanded to Indonesia, Australia, Thailand and Bangladesh.

Dr. Maszlee Malik dilahirkan di Johor Bahru. Beliau telah mendapat pendidikan awal di Sekolah Temenggong Abdul Rahman (STAR) (2) dan kemudiannya ke Maktab Sultan Abu Bakar (English College). Pada tahun 1989, beliau telah menyertai Madrasah al-Quran Waddin dan kemudiannya ke Maahad Johor. Setelah itu permusafiran ilmunya dilanjutkan ke Jordan sehingga berjaya mendapatkan ijazah sarjana muda dari Universiti Al al- Bayt, Jordan dan kemudiannya meneruskan pengajian peringkat ijazah sarjana di Universiti Malaya. Kedua- duanya dalam bidang Fiqh dan Usul al-Fiqh. Dengan izin Allah, Maszlee Malik telah melanjutkan pelajaran di School of Governments and International Affairs (SGIA) di University of Durham pada tahun 2007 dan mendapat ijazah kedoktoran dalam bidang Good Governance pada tahun 2011.

[JCorp] has raised RM210,000 for the Middle East Conflict Humanitarian Fund in collaboration with Mercy Malaysia. The donation was received from several units under its stable including Kulim (M) Bhd, KPJ Healthcare Bhd, QSR Brands (M) Holdings Sdn Bhd and Johor Land Bhd.

JCorp would also place [...] donation boxes at selected mosques and its private specialist hospitals [and] all JCorp owned buildings here – Komtar JBCC, Galleria@Kotaraya, Kempas community market, Larkin Sentral Transport Terminal and the lobbies of The Puteri Pacific Johor Baru Hotel and Persada Johor.

The Johor Media Club (JMC) in collaboration with Johor Corporation (JCorp) has established a fund to collect donations to rebuild a mosque in Aceh which was hit by a devastating earthquake last month. (The) historical mosque, located in Gampong Reudep Kecamatan Panteraja Kabupaten Pidie Jaya, was built in 1922 and had been badly damaged by the earthquake. Although only 20% of the structure is left, many people are still using it to take shelter in and to perform their prayers. http://po.st/pOqn4g
