📚✨ World Book & Copyright Day 2026 at Kompas Library ✨📚

On 23 April 2026, Kompas Library celebrated World Book & Copyright Day with a series of fun and interactive activities throughout the day! 🎉

Among the activities held were the following:
📖 Read Together for 10 Minutes
🎡 Spin & Win
💡 Book Quotes & Copyright Facts
📝 Quote Wall
🎨 Bookmark Design Station

The program aimed to encourage reading habits, promote awareness about copyright, and create a lively library environment for students and staff. A total of 17 participants joined the celebration, consisting of staff members and students.

The “Read Together for 10 Minutes” session was held at 11:00 a.m., where participants gathered to enjoy reading together in the library. Participants also enjoyed interactive activities such as answering book-related questions, sharing meaningful quotes, and designing their own creative bookmarks. ✨

📚✨ AI in Education Workshop at KIC Library! ✨🤖

On 26 November 2025, we ran a workshop on “AI in Education: Ethical Use of AI in Academic Writing.” Big thanks to the 23 participants who joined us—lecturers, staff, and students!

The session covered:
✔️ How to use AI tools responsibly
✔️ How to check the accuracy of AI-generated info using the SIFT method
✔️ How to cite and acknowledge AI in assignments (APA 7th included!)

Participants tried hands-on activities like spotting unreliable AI claims, writing acknowledgment statements, and practicing proper citations for AI-generated text and images. Love seeing everyone so engaged!
