We had a team quiz on Merdeka, Malaysia Day and general information. The participants were randomly chosen and we all had fun. In the end, every participant was given a present. We also had a flea market selling pre-loved items and frozen food. Seven tables were taken up. The finale was the potluck and the happy mingling of the residents as they catch up with the news or make new friends.

YB Hannah Yeoh could not stay long because she had so many events to attend. Before she left, she gave us a hopeful scenario for better things to come if we all do our part as responsible citizens of Malaysia. Our flower girl, Jordan, presented a beautiful bouquet after the talk.

The next event was seniors going down memory lane. We still have the original 'pioneers' who opened up Medan Damansara in the early 1970s. Many are now in the exclusive 9- & 8-series group. We were very honoured to have 6 representatives share their memories of those early times. Thank you Puan Hjh Siti Aidah Abdullah, Encik Dr A. Jeyaretna, Puan Sally Sinniah, Encik Hj Rahman , Puan Margaret Ong, and Encik Jayaram Munisamy. May God all Merciful gives you all health, and happy lives

Hari Malaysia Day celebration was a success. After a drought of 2 or more years before covid and during, our residents did not gather and mingle with each other. Finally, we did it on 17th September 2022! And we had a special guest to join in our community gathering - the Honourable YB Hannah Yeoh.

We hoisted the Jalur Gemilang and sang NegaraKu with pride. Then we continued singing with gusto two patriotic songs before cutting the Huckleberry sponsored 3-pounder cake, hahaha. YB Hannah cut the cake
