Damos la bienvenida a dos nuevos practicantes en la Embajada de Dinamarca en México🇩🇰🇲🇽

Daniel cursa una maestría en Negocios y Estudios del Desarrollo en Copenhagen Business School. Nació y creció en Venezuela, y en 2017 se mudó a Dinamarca. Le ilusiona poder aplicar sus conocimientos académicos en la práctica y conocer más sobre la región. Su trabajo en la embajada se centrará principalmente en tareas relacionadas con energía, alimentación y agricultura.

Jacob estudia una licenciatura en Administración de Negocios y Filosofía en Copenhagen Business School. Ha vivido en Buenos Aires y ha viajado a América Latina en varias ocasiones, por lo que tiene un buen conocimiento de la región. Durante sus prácticas espera conocer el trabajo de la embajada y ganar experiencia práctica en el ámbito diplomático, centrándose principalmente en tareas relacionadas con salud y diplomacia pública.

A warm welcome to our new interns at the Embassy of Denmark in Mexico🇩🇰🇲🇽

Daniel is pursuing a master’s degree in Business and Development Studies at Copenhagen Business School. He was born and raised in Venezuela, and moved to Denmark in 2017. He is excited to apply his academic knowledge in practice and learn more about the region. His work at the embassy will focus mainly on tasks related to energy, food, and agriculture.

Jacob is Studying a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Philosophy at Copenhagen Business School. He has lived in Buenos Aires and has travelled to Latin America in several occasions, giving him a strong understanding of the region. During his internship, he looks forward to learning about the embassy’s work and gaining practical experience in the diplomatic field, focusing mainly on tasks related to health and public diplomacy.

La Embajada de Dinamarca en México se complace en dar la bienvenida a la Excma. Sra Vanessa Vega Saenz como la nueva Embajadora designada de Dinamarca en México🇩🇰🇲🇽

El martes, 4 de agosto, presentó las copias de sus cartas credenciales ante Excmo Sr. Embajador Jonathan Chait Auerbach, Director General de Protocolo de la Secretaría de Relaciones Exteriores de México.

"¡Estoy muy emocionada y honrada de comenzar mi misión en México! Dinamarca y México comparten muchos valores e intereses, y mantienen una sólida colaboración continua en diversas áreas de importancia mutua. Haré todo lo posible por mantener y fortalecer nuestras relaciones, junto con mi gran equipo de la Embajada y en colaboración con los actores y socios daneses y mexicanos relevantes," dice la Embajadora Vanessa Vega Saenz.

On Tuesday, August 4th, she presented the copies of her credentials to H.E. Ambassador Jonathan Chait Auerbach, Director General of Protocol at the Mexican Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

“I am very excited and honoured to begin my mission in Mexico! Denmark and Mexico share many values and interests and have a strong ongoing collaboration in various areas of mutual importance. I will do my best to maintain and strengthen our relations, together with my strong Embassy team and in collaboration with relevant Danish and Mexican partners and actors” says Ambassador Vanessa Vega Saenz.

¡Góða Ólavsøku/Feliz Ólavsøka! Hoy es el Día Nacional de las Islas Feroe.

Las Islas Feroe constan de 18 hermosas islas verdes en el Atlántico Nororiental y son un país autónomo dentro del Reino de Dinamarca.

¿Sabías que una parte importante de la celebración de Ólavsøka es el “Miðnáttarsangur" o "canto comunitario de medianoche"?

A la medianoche del 29 de julio, alrededor de 10.000 feroeses se reúnen en el centro de Tórshavn para cantar juntos.

Góða Ólavsøku/Happy Ólavsøka! Today is the National Day of the Faroe Islands.

The Faroe Islands consists of 18 beautiful green islands in the North East Atlantic and is a self-governing country within The Kingdom of Denmark.

Did you know that an important part of celebrating Ólavsøka is “Miðnáttarsangur" or “midnight-sing along"?

At midnight on 29 July, around 10,000 Faroe Islanders gather in central Torshavn to sing together.

We wish the Faroe Islands a happy celebration.

🏳️‍🌈✨ ¡La Ciudad de México se llena de colores y orgullo!

Hoy es la 48.ª edición de la Marcha del Orgullo LGBT+ en la Ciudad de México. El lema oficial de este año es "Ante los ojos del mundo, mi lucha es tu lucha: igualdad, paz y solidaridad".

Celebrando el día del Orgullo, destacamos la importancia de esta comunidad, que contribuye a crear diversidad y unidad en el mundo.

Sabías que:

- En 1989, Dinamarca fue el primer país en otorgar reconocimiento legal a las uniones del mismo s**o.
- En 2010, Dinamarca otorgó a las parejas homosexuales el derecho pleno de adopción.
- En 2017, Dinamarca fue el primer país del mundo en desclasificar oficialmente la identidad transgénero como una enfermedad mental.

Representantes de la embajada participan en la marcha, y deseamos a todos que tengan una buena marcha.

🎉🇬🇱 Inuiattut ullorsiornissinni pilluaritsi, Kalaallit Nunaat / Feliz Día Nacional, Groenlandia 🇬🇱🎉

En toda Groenlandia, hoy 21 de junio, se celebra el Día Nacional con cantos matutinos, discursos, el izado de la bandera, servicios religiosos, 'kaffemik' (café y dulces) y entretenimiento local como música, danza folclórica y demostraciones de habilidades en kayak. Muchas personas visten el atuendo nacional tradicional, kalaallisuut y qaqortumaartoq, y la bandera groenlandesa, cuyo nombre, Erfalasorput, ondea por todas partes.

El Día Nacional se introdujo en 1985 y es una de las diversas formas de expresar y celebrar la identidad nacional, la cultura y las tradiciones de Groenlandia.

🎉🇬🇱 Inuiattut ullorsiornissinni pilluaritsi, Kalaallit Nunaat / Congratulations on the National Day, Greenland🇬🇱🎉

All around Greenland, today 21st of June, the National Day is celebrated with morning songs, speeches, hoisting of the flag, church service, 'kaffemik' (coffee and sweets) and local entertainment such as music, folk dancing and displays of kayaking skills. Many people wear the traditional national attire, kalaallisuut and qaqortumaartoq, and the Greenlandic flag, Erfalasorput, is waving everywhere.

The National Day was introduced in 1985 and is one of several ways to express and celebrate Greenland's national identity, culture, and traditions.
