The Benjamin Franklin Corner in Chihuahua City is a United States Department of State-sponsored initiative inaugurated on November 18, 2009. The Benjamin Franklin Corner serves as a regional resource center for information and programs highlighting American culture, history, current events, and government. bits, and meetings with U.S. It also acts as a regional repository for the use of American-themed books, videos, DVDs, and CD-ROMs and provides free internet access and educational materials. Operated in partnership with the Chihuahua City Municipal Government, the U.S. provides equipment and materials while the host institution provides staffing and the free use of space.
