El acuerdo abarca inversión en minería y procesamiento, mapeo geológico, transferencia de tecnología y fortalecimiento de la capacidad de Armenia en un sector clave para las cadenas de suministro industriales y tecnológicas modernas.
Los minerales críticos y los materiales raros son insumos esenciales para los , la infraestructura de , las baterías y la avanzada. Para Armenia, esto representa oportunidades reales: atraer inversiones, desarrollar recursos locales, ampliar las capacidades de procesamiento y avanzar hacia una producción de mayor valor añadido.
Esto forma parte de una iniciativa más amplia. Armenia y Estados Unidos han elevado su relación a una Alianza Estratégica Integral, que abarca tecnología, energía, defensa, comercio, educación e intercambio cultural.
El acuerdo marco sobre minerales críticos se suma a la Alianza para la Innovación en IA y Semiconductores y a la Alianza para la , conformando una agenda bilateral coherente y en constante expansión.
Armenia está consolidando su posición en las cadenas de suministro que definirán la próxima década del desarrollo industrial y tecnológico global.

🇦🇲🇺🇸 Հայաստանը և Միացյալ Նահանգները ստորագրել են «Հայաստանի Հանրապետության և Ամերիկայի Միացյալ Նահանգների միջև կարևորագույն հանքանյութերի և հազվագյուտ հանածոների արդյունահանման և մշակման ոլորտում մատակարարման ապահովման շրջանակային հուշագիրը»։
