What a meaningful way to wrap up the year ๐ŸŽ‰

Our End-of-Year Party brought together colleagues, partners, and workmates in an atmosphere of celebration, reflection, and togetherness.

We were honoured to have Mr. Shelton Kanyanda, Commissioner of Statistics, as our Guest of Honour, accompanied by NSO Senior Management, alongside representatives from the Malawi Police Service, Directorate of Road Traffic and Safety Services and the Southern Region Water Board, whose presence added great value to the occasion.

The programme featured a presentation of key milestones, delivered by the Deputy Director โ€“ Administration, Nelia Mkandawire, highlighting the progress achieved during the year through collective effort and dedication.

During his address, the Guest of Honour commended staff for their professionalism and dedication. In a touching and respectful moment, he requested a minute of silence in honour of a departed member of staff.

This was followed by the presentation of gifts to retired officers, recognising their years of loyal service and the legacy they leave behind.

The celebration then continued in a warm and uplifting spirit, closing on a high note with fellowship, laughter, and shared joy โ€” a fitting end to the year and a hopeful look toward the year ahead.
