13TH REVOLUTIONARY ANNIVERSARY MESSAGE

To the Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF),

On behalf of the *Economic Freedom Fighters of Malawi (EFFM)*, I extend revolutionary greetings and heartfelt solidarity to the Economic Freedom Fighters as you commemorate your *13th Revolutionary Anniversary*.

For thirteen years, you have stood at the frontline of the struggle against economic inequality, exploitation, poverty, unemployment, landlessness, and the continued oppression of the working class and the poor. Your struggle has inspired millions across Africa and has reminded us that ECONOMIC FREEDOM IS NOT A PRIVILEGE TO BE BEGGED FOR —IT IS A RIGHT TO BE FOUGHT FOR.

As Economic Freedom Fighters of Malawi, we salute your courage, discipline, resilience, and unwavering commitment to the liberation of the African people. The struggles of Malawi and South Africa are inseparable because our people continue to face the same challenges of poverty, unemployment, inequality, corruption, and the theft of our natural resources.

On this revolutionary anniversary, we reaffirm our commitment to strengthening the bonds of solidarity between the *EFF of South Africa and EFFM of Malawi*. The struggle for economic freedom knows no borders. The African masses must unite, organise, and fight for a new Africa where land, minerals, industries, jobs, and wealth serve the people—not a privileged few.

Thirteen years of struggle.
Thirteen years of resistance.
Thirteen years of revolutionary consciousness.
Thirteen years of fighting for economic freedom.

The road ahead may be difficult, but the revolutionary spirit of the people cannot be defeated.

Happy 13th Revolutionary Anniversary to the Economic Freedom Fighters!

The struggle continues.
The revolution continues.
Economic freedom in our lifetime!

AMANDLA!
POWER TO THE PEOPLE!

CORRUPTION ON REPATRIATION PROGRAM

Malawians are once again being asked to watch quietly while public money is allegedly squandered through inflated government contracts. The figures reportedly presented in Parliament regarding the repatriation program paint a deeply disturbing picture that demands immediate answers.

If the reported cost of approximately MK1.3 million per person is accurate, then taxpayers are being forced to shoulder an outrageous financial burden. Reports suggesting that each bus trip costs more than MK84 million are impossible to ignore, especially when similar transport services have reportedly been provided for between MK21 million and MK26 million per trip, including meals.

This raises one unavoidable question: WHO IS BENEFITING FROM THIS MASSIVE DIFFERENCES IN COST?

Malawians are tired of seeing corruption disguised as government business. While ordinary citizens struggle with the high cost of living, unemployment, and inadequate public services, a few individuals appear to be enriching themselves at the expense of the nation.

We demand that the Government immediately publish the full details of all contracts, procurement processes, payment schedules, and the names of the companies involved in the repatriation program. There must be no secrecy where taxpayers' money is concerned.

We further call upon the Anti-Corruption Bureau, the National Audit Office, Parliament, and all relevant oversight institutions to launch an immediate, independent, and transparent investigation. If any public officials or private contractors are found to have inflated costs, manipulated procurement processes, or misused public funds, they must face the full force of the law.

Malawi belongs to its citizens—not to corrupt officials who treat public resources as personal wealth. Enough is enough. Every kwacha lost through corruption is a kwacha taken from hospitals, schools, farmers, and the future of our children.

The people of Malawi deserve transparency, accountability, and justice. Silence in the face of credible allegations of corruption only erodes public trust. Those entrusted with public office must be prepared to account for every kwacha spent.
