nt, Government has subvented almost two thirds of the Council operations. The Nurse and Midwives Act has been revised several times to incorporate changes affecting the profession. The current Act which is in use was revised in 1995 and is known as the Nurses and Midwives Act, No. 16 of 1995. The overall objective of the Council is to develop, maintain, monitor, evaluate and control the profession of nursing and midwifery thereby contributing to the national health goal of raising the health status of Malawians

Following the release of eNurse v2.0.1 yesterday, we identified that some users experienced challenges when creating or updating their account passwords.

We are pleased to inform you that this issue has now been resolved. A new version of the APK (v2.0.2) has been uploaded and is available for download. We encourage all users, including those who did not encounter password problems, to install this latest version to ensure smooth account setup and continued access.

UPDATE ON eNURSE MOBILE APP

eNurse Mobile App is now Back!

This is to notify all nurses and midwives that the eNurse Mobile App is now back online with exciting new features designed to make services faster, easier and more convenient for nurses, midwives and students.

New Features Now Available:

1. Online Student Self-Indexing Application: Students can now
apply for indexing directly through the app.
2. Online Licensure Examination Application. Students can apply
for licensure examination.
3. Capturing of CPD Planned Activities. Nurses can now record and
track CPD activities such as Self-Assessment, Peer Assessment,
Performance Assessment, and other CPD activities.
4. Online CPD Exemption Application. Nurses and Midwives can
submit CPD exemption requests easily through the system.
5. Clinical Progress Dashboard for Students. Through the app,
students can monitor and track their clinical training progress in
real time.
6. Self-Facility Deployment Feature. Nurses can easily manage and
update facility deployment.
7. Introduction of a Facility Module. A new module designed to
improve facility-related processes and coordination.
