The South African High Commission in Lilongwe was honoured to participate in the Women's Manifesto this year.
The Women’s Manifesto Movement, through Oxfam in Malawi, the Women’s Legal Resources Centre (WOLREC) and the NGO Gender Coordination Network (NGO-GCN), in collaboration with the Ministry of
Gender, Community Development and Social Welfare, UN Women, the Malawi Irish Consortium on Gender Based Violence, and with funding from the European Union and the UK Government’s Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO) – What Works Programme, officially launched the Second Edition of the Women’s Manifesto on Tuesday 17th June 2025 in Lilongwe at the Bingu wa Mutharika Convention Centre (BICC).
The Key Note Speaker at the official launch was Hon Dr Grace Naledi Pandor, Chairperson of the Nelson Mandela Foundation and Former South Africa Minister for International Relations and Cooperation.
