On today’s episode, we’re in Valletta taking on the Civil Protection Malta's Annual Stair Climb Challenge — honouring the courage, service and sacrifice of the first responders of 9/11, and recognising all those who continue to serve their communities every day.

Vacation was great, the batteries are recharged and we’re ready for a new chapter of SAR! 🚨

We kicked off the season with a fun and productive First Aid session led by our dearest Debbie. ❤️

We learned that patience really is a virtue, teamwork matters, and apparently CPR works better when you’ve got rhythm! 🎶😅

Behind the laughs, every session keeps our skills sharp and prepares us for when it really matters.

A great start to the season: refreshed, motivated and ready! 💪

🐾 Happy International Dog Day!

Today we celebrate our incredible canine team and the dogs who train alongside us to support search and rescue operations.

Yesterday, members of the Search and Rescue Unit of the Maltese Association of the Order of Malta were deployed to Bulebel to assist in the search for missing person Eusebio Abela.

Our volunteers deployed search and drone resources and worked alongside the Civil Protection Malta & The Malta Police Force in support of the ongoing operation.

We extend our deepest condolences to Mr.Abela’s family, friends and loved ones during this incredibly difficult time.

We also want to remind the public that should you ever need our assistance, our volunteers are ready and willing to support, no matter the time of day. If someone is missing and you believe our Search and Rescue capabilities can assist, please do not hesitate to contact us directly and we will ensure the right authorities are notified of the case.

🚨 Celebrating 5 Years of Service 🚨

This month marks the 5th anniversary of the Search and Rescue Unit of the Order of Malta.

Over the last five years, our volunteers have dedicated their time, skills, and energy to serving the community, responding when needed and supporting a wide range of operations and activities. Their commitment remains the driving force behind everything we do.💪

We would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to the Maltese Association - Order of Malta, as well as to the various government entities, emergency services, NGOs, partners, and supporters whose collaboration and trust have helped us reach this milestone.🙏🏽
