ROUTE 103 NAXXAR DIVERSION

Date: Wednesday 9th September 2026. Time: 09:30hrs – 17:00hrs.

Road Closure: Triq Sghajtar.

Diversion to Mosta: Route buses coming Naxxar Towards Mosta will have to divert by passing from VJAL 21 TA SETTEMBRU without serving SAGHAJTAR area.

Diversion to Naxxar: Follow the same diversion for the return journey using as starting point the roundabout of SANTA MARGERITA.

Bus Stops affected:

6369/ 2313 Bajjad, 2776/ 2312 Missjunarji, 2775 Tuffieh, 2774 Gellewz 2314 Musbieh, 2171/ 3770 Pisani.

Is-Sindku, il-Viċi Sindku, il-Kunsilliera, is-Segretarju Eżekuttiv u l-amministrazzjoni tal-Kunsill Lokali tan-Naxxar jawguraw Festa Tajba lill-familji Naxxarin kollha!

Ejjew ningħaqdu flimkien u niċċelebraw din il-festa f’għaqda, ferħ u spirtu ta’ komunità.

Prosit lill-Grupp tal-Iscouts tan-Naxxar u liż-żgħażagħ kollha li ħadu sehem fl-inizjattiva nazzjonali “Scouts and Guides for the Goals”.

Bħala parti minn din l-inizjattiva, il-Grupp tal-Iscouts tan-Naxxar ġie assenjat SDG 16 – Paċi, Ġustizzja u Istituzzjonijiet b’Saħħithom. Permezz tal-proġett tagħhom “Give Me a Chance,” il-parteċipanti esploraw temi marbuta mal-ġustizzja, li wieħed ikollu vuċi, u l-bini ta’ komunitajiet b’saħħithom, fosthom permezz ta’ sensiela ta’ tpinġijiet ispirati minn dawn il-valuri importanti.

Waqt l-attività tal-bieraħ marbuta mal-għoti tad-donazzjonijiet lill-Malta Community Chest Fund, iż-żgħażagħ parteċipanti kellhom l-opportunità speċjali li jesebixxu x-xogħlijiet tagħhom u jippreżentawhom lill-E.T. il-President ta’ Malta.

Il-Kunsill Lokali tan-Naxxar jifraħ lill-Grupp tal-Iscouts tan-Naxxar u liż-żgħażagħ kollha li pparteċipaw għall-kreattività, l-impenn u l-entużjażmu tagħhom, u talli rrappreżentaw lill-komunità tagħna b’mod tant pożittiv.

Well done to the Naxxar Scout Group and all the participating youths for their involvement in the national “Scouts and Guides for the Goals” initiative.

As part of this initiative, the Naxxar Scout Group was assigned SDG 16 – Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions. Through their project “Give Me a Chance,” the participants explored themes of fairness, having a voice and building strong communities, including through a series of paintings inspired by these important values.

During yesterday’s donations event, the participating youths had the special opportunity to showcase their artwork and present their work to H.E. the President of Malta.

The Naxxar Local Council congratulates the Naxxar Scout Group and all the young participants for their creativity, commitment and enthusiasm, and for representing our community so positively.

❤️ Attività Annwali b’Risq il-MCCF

Ilbieraħ ġiet organizzata l-attività annwali b’risq il-Malta Community Chest Fund Foundation (MCCF), li din is-sena kienet fdata f’idejn in-Naxxar Lions. L-attività saret f' Palazzo Parisio, fil-preżenza tal-Eċċellenza Tagħha l-President ta’ Malta.

l-attivitá fetħet b’introduzzjoni mill-President tan-Naxxar Lions, is-Sur Adrian Fenech, segwita minn diskorsi mis-Sindku tan-Naxxar, Dott. Christopher Deguara u mill-E.T. il-President ta’ Malta.

Nirringrazzjaw minn qalbna lil dawk kollha li ħadu sehem u taw id-donazzjoni tagħhom għal din il-kawża ġusta. Kull kontribuzzjoni tagħmel differenza! ❤️

❤️ Annual Fundraising Event in Aid of the MCCF

Yesterday, the annual fundraising event in aid of the Malta Community Chest Fund Foundation (MCCF) was held. This year, the Naxxar Lions were entrusted with organising the event, which took place at Palazzo Parisio in the presence of Her Excellency the President of Malta.

The event opened with an introduction by the President of the Naxxar Lions FC, Mr Adrian Fenech, followed by speeches from the Mayor of Naxxar, Dr. Chris Deguara and H.E. the President of Malta.

We sincerely thank everyone who participated and generously donated towards this worthy cause. Every contribution makes a difference! ❤️

F’ċerti punti se jkun hemm gwardjani biex jidderieġu t-traffiku, filwaqt li f’postijiet oħra t-toroq se jkunu magħluqa permezz ta’ barriers.

Inħeġġu lil kulħadd biex isegwi d-direzzjonijiet u jikkopera, ħalli ngawdu l-Festa b’mod sigur u nevitaw li jseħħu inċidenti.

⚠️ IMPORTANT NOTICE

We would like to remind everyone that the closure of Pjazza Vittorja in connection with the Feast activities has come into effect today.

At certain points, traffic wardens will be present to direct traffic, while other roads will be closed using barriers.

We encourage everyone to follow the directions given and cooperate so that we may all enjoy the Feast safely and prevent accidents.

🎉 Let us celebrate together in unity and with respect for one another.

ROUTE 260 NAXXAR DIVERSION

Date: Wednesday 9th September 2026.

Time: All day.

Road Closure: TRIQ SAN PAWL.

Diversion to Gharghur: Route buses coming from NAXXAR going towards GHARGHUR have to divert near WELBEE’S roundabout by going to the BY-PASS TRIQ A.MURRAY and will proceed towards T’ALLA U OMMU roundabout and will turn around to continue as the normal route to GHARGHUR.
