FITAโ€™s main aim is to provide support to persons with disabilities and vulnerable people in removing or overcoming barriers to education and employment through ICT. FITA is supporting and promoting inclusivity through empowerment and social inclusion. I

FITA officials, ICT Director Mr Owen Zahra & Executive Officer Mr Gabriel Ciancio, in collaboration with ACTU (Aฤกenzija Sapport ), presented their presentation poster at the Communication Matters Conference at the University of Leeds ๐Ÿ‘

โ€‹The poster showcases how they developed custom 3D-printed, high-contrast tactile symbols. This tailored AAC solution has enabled a teenager with visual impairment and complex communication needs to independently express wants, emotions and phrases across daily environments.
