Yesterday, 29th April 2026, the Malta Police Force ๐Ÿ‘ฎ inaugurated a fleet of 30 specialised vehicles ๐Ÿš“ for the Rapid Intervention Unit (RIU) in Kalkara Square. Of these, 16 vehicles are co funded under the Internal Security Fund (ISF) through the project โ€œEnhancing the protection of public spaces through the procurement of specialised vehiclesโ€, with a total investment of โ‚ฌ1,006,656.

This investment strengthens security ๐Ÿšจ in public areas by enhancing the RIUโ€™s operational control, surveillance, and rapid response capabilities, enabling swift and effective intervention where it matters most.
