🎬 Maltese project selected for Let's Pitch Some Shorts! 2026
Arts Council Malta is pleased to share that a Maltese short film project has been selected for the 11th edition of Let's Pitch Some Shorts!, the international workshop and pitching forum supporting emerging European filmmaking talent.
The call, promoted earlier this year, attracted a record-breaking 78 applications from across Europe. Following a highly competitive selection process, only 11 projects were chosen to participate, representing Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Estonia, Greece, Hungary, Malta, Montenegro, Serbia and Slovenia.
The selected Maltese project will now join fellow participants in Zagreb, Croatia, for an intensive development workshop led by award-winning producer and EAVE mentor Roshanak Behesht Nedjad. The programme will culminate in a public pitching forum, where participants will present their projects to an international audience of film professionals and industry experts.
We congratulate the Maltese team on this achievement and wish them every success as they continue developing their project and showcasing Maltese talent on the European stage.
