Congratulations to Inspector Alfredo Mangion, who was awarded Ġieħ iż-Żurrieq during an awards ceremony organised by the Żurrieq Local Council.

This honour was presented in appreciation of Inspector Mangion’s swift and decisive action while off duty earlier this year, when he immediately responded after being informed that a number of items had allegedly been stolen inside the Żurrieq church.

Despite being off duty, Inspector Mangion acted without hesitation, located the person involved and arrested him.

This recognition reflects the dedication and sense of duty shown by our officers, even beyond their official working hours.
