Meet Dr. Christopher Racine, Psychiatrist at the Commonwealth Healthcare Corporation’s Department of Psychiatry.

Dr. Racine understands the strengths in treatment courts, with one of them being “the personalized attention participants receive. Providers and courts make sure to understand the person as an individual to support them towards successful outcomes.”

Thank you to all of our treatment providers and community partners for your compassion, collaboration, and dedication to helping participants build healthier, more stable lives.

Meet Charlotte Flores, Program Manager under the Substance Abuse, Addictions, and Rehabilitation (SAAR) Program.

“The court systems, and SAAR are constantly communicating about each participant—what they’re struggling with, where they’re improving, and where they need more support. That level of coordination means participants can’t fall through the cracks, but it also means we can step in early, adjust treatment, and keep them moving forward instead of starting over.”

We extend our sincere appreciation to all treatment providers and partners for their continued collaboration and commitment to supporting recovery and justice-involved individuals in our community. Treatment Courts Month shines a light on the life-changing work happening through collaboration and accountability.

Meet Evelyn Tenorio, Supervisor at the CGC Transitional Living Center.

“Instead of treating every participant the same, treatment courts (like drug court or mental health courts) tailor plans to each person's needs, addressing not just the legal issue, but underlying factors such as substance use, mental health, housing, employment, and family support.”

This Treatment Courts Month, we honor the partnerships that help individuals rebuild and communities grow stronger.

Meet Queayla C. Sablan, MSW, LSW, Clinician with WestCare Pacific Islands and a passionate advocate for recovery. She has been working with treatment courts for over five years.

“Treatment courts provide a safe, sober and encouraging environment. The team's support shows participants that they can heal," Sablan said.

Through collaboration, compassion, and accountability, treatment courts create safe spaces where individuals can grow, make better choices, and access the recovery they deserve. During Treatment Courts Month, we recognize and thank our treatment providers and partner agencies for their unwavering commitment to healing, accountability, and recovery.

Farewell, Timothy! The Judiciary extends its appreciation to Timothy Rabago for his five years of dedication, service, and commitment to helping Drug Court participants on their recovery journeys.

As a Case Manager, Timothy has been a steady source of support, encouragement, and accountability for many individuals and families throughout his time with the program. His work has made a meaningful impact on the lives of others and on the mission of Treatment Courts in our community.

While we are sad to see him go, we are excited for him as he begins a new chapter in his career.
