Sorting debris helps recovery crews clear neighborhoods faster and get communities back on their feet. Keep vegetative debris, construction materials, appliances, electronics, and hazardous waste in separate piles. Most importantly, do not include household garbage. Mixed debris slows pickup and delays recovery for everyone.
