Got a FEMA decision letter? You have the right to appeal if you disagree with the determination on your disaster assistance application. Appeals must be submitted within 60 days of the date on your letter, so don’t wait.

Include supporting documents such as receipts, bills, repair estimates, property titles or deeds, and other records showing disaster-related loss or need for additional assistance. Be sure to include your FEMA application number and disaster number on every page.

Submit your appeal online at DisasterAssistance.gov, by mail, or by fax to 800-827-8112. In-person help is also available at Survivor Recovery Centers in Saipan, Tinian, and Rota.

Deadline to apply for FEMA Individual Assistance: Monday, June 22, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. ChST.

Reminder: The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), in coordination with CNMI HSEM and FEMA, is actively conducting residential debris removal across Saipan.

To support efficient collection, residents are asked to place properly sorted debris along the public right-of-way. Do not block roadways, fire hydrants, or utility meters.

Please separate debris into the following categories:
✅Vegetative debris
✅Appliances
✅Construction and demolition debris
✅Sheet metal
✅Electronics
✅Household hazardous materials

Please note: Regular household trash will not be collected as part of this operation. Continue using your normal waste disposal services.

If you need assistance with debris removal or helping manamko’, contact DPW at (670) 235-9570.

(U.S Coast Guard Forces Micronesia)
⚠️ ROAD CLOSURE NOTICE | Smiling Cove Marina, Saipan

Beginning Monday, June 1, a federal and local team will begin removing vessels damaged by Super Typhoon Sinlaku from Smiling Cove Marina. Operations are expected to last 30 days.

Road access at the connection points of Basin Place and Marina Lane will be CLOSED beginning June 1.

Water and boat ramp access remain UNAFFECTED by these operations.
Residents are asked to stay away from the work area and follow all safety signs and instructions. Heavy machinery, cutting equipment, and diving operations will be active throughout the operation.

This mission is funded through FEMA under the Presidential Disaster Declaration for the CNMI. Partners include the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, NOAA, FEMA, CNMI DLNR, T&T Marine Salvage, and OSROCO.

Thank you for your patience as we work together to restore safe access to Saipan's waterway.

Effective June 1, 2026, Transit CNMI - Fixed Route Blue Line 1B continues to operate under modified hours.

Operational Hours:
Sunday-Saturday: 6:30 AM to 6:30 PM

Fares:
General Riders: $2.00
Discounted Riders (Students, Elderly, People with Disabilities, Veterans): $1.00
