🚴‍♂️Today is !

🌷Skopje has come a long way since 2008 when the Embassy and the City of Skopje reconstructed the first bicycle lane. Back then it counted only 20 km of bicycle paths, and today this number is at least 8 times higher!

🌳By working (and cycling) together we will breathe cleaner air, feel healthier, and create cities that are more pleasant to live in. Cycling literally moves us forward!

Beach Film Festival се враќа во Охрид од 22 до 26 јули, носејќи нови европски приказни, незаборавни проекции и пет дена исполнети со кино, разговори и лето.

Ambassador Ӧzlem Canel attended the opening of the first SPAR store in 🇲🇰, marking a milestone that brings new jobs, stronger partnerships with local producers, and more Macedonian products on the shelves. And as the original 🇳🇱 SPAR acronym reminds us, 'Door Eendrachtig Samenwerken Profiteren Allen Regelmatig' (through united cooperation, everyone benefits), a perfect message for this new beginning.

For the first time this year we had two winners at our bicycle decorating competition! Congratulations to the teams from ‘Dimitar Vlahov’ and ‘Rade Jovchevski Korchagin’ high schools for winning 💯 points for their creativity, use of recycled materials and true expression of 🇳🇱🇲🇰 connections!

The bicycle decorating competition was organised by Go Green - Биди Зелен on the occasion of the National Day of the Netherlands - King’s Day 2026.

Together with our partners from Пивара Скопје / Pivara Skopje we joined the clean up action on the Vardar quay. We collected plastics, car parts and even an entire mattress! Keeping our city clean is a joint responsibility and small actions can lead to big changes!
