NEW YEAR COCKTAIL OF THE HONORARY CONSULS CLUB

On December 22, 2025, the New Year cocktail of the Honorary Consuls Club was held. Except by the club's members—the honorary consuls of foreign states in Macedonia, the event was also attended by the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade, Mr. Timčo Mucunski. He emphasized the significant role that honorary consuls play in maintaining the overall relations between the countries they represent and the Republic of Macedonia. Furthermore, Minister Mucunski reaffirmed his support and that of the institution he leads—the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade, for the club and its members. At the event, brief addresses were also delivered by the club’s president, Mr. Ajdovan Ademoski—honorary consul of Turkey, and the club’s secretary general, Mr. Marko Andonov—honorary consul of Georgia. The club’s activities and achievements during the current year were highlighted, emphasizing the acceptance of the Honorary Consuls Club as a full member of FICAC - International Federation of Consular Corps and Associations, as well as some of the activities planned for implementation throughout 2026.

Одржана редовна седница на Клубот на почесните конзули на РСМ

На 17 октомври 2024 година беше одржана редовна седница на Клубот на почесните конзули на која беа разгледани досегашните активности, но во исто време се разговараше и за идните чекори кои треба да се преземат се со цел да се зголеми ангажираноста на Клубот на меѓународна сцена.
Во таа насока, проф. д-р Сашко Кедев - конзул на Индонезија е избран за потпретседател на Клубот за меѓународна соработка.

Во рамки на посетата на амбасадорот на Грузија, Н.Е. Отар Бердзенишвили, во период од 11 до 13 септември, покрај остварените средби со целиот државен врв, амбасадорот во придружба на почесниот конзул Марко Андонов, реализираше работна вечера и со пратениците кои се членови на групата за соработка со парламентот на Грузија.

Воедно, беше реализирана и работна вечера со Крум Ефремов, Велибор Топаловски и Кире Илиоски, директори од директоратите на Министерството за надворешни работи и надворешна трговија на Република Северна Македонија. На вечерата се разговараше за преземање на конкретни чекори во насока на интензивирање на соработката помеѓу двете држави.

За време на својата посета, амбасадорот на Грузија одржа и работната средба со заменик министерот за надворешни работи и надворешна трговија, г. Зоран Димитровски, на која беше реафирмирана досегашната соработката помеѓу двете министерства.

On the initiative of the President and Secretary General of the Club of Honorary consuls of NMK, Ajdovan Ademoski and Marko Andonov, a work meeting was organized between the Honorary Consuls of foreign countries and the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade of the NМК, Timcho Mucunski, in hotel „Double Tree by Hilton“, Skopje.

At the meeting, the Minister Mucunski thanked for the fruitful cooperation, communication and successfully built relations in the past period, which undoubtedly had a strong contribution to the improvement of relations with the countries whose interests they represent.

Speaking about the new competences of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade, as well as the reorganization of the existing system for attracting and managing foreign investments, Minister Mucunski expressed hope that the honorary consuls, as our citizens, will make a strong contribution to the economy, the strengthening of the attraction process of foreign investments, encouragement of our foreign trade exchange, strengthening of mutual tourist offers, as well as other types of promotions in order to increase all types of cooperation.

16 YEARS SINCE RUSSIA’S MILITARY AGGRESSION AGAINST GEORGIA IN AUGUST 2008

16 years have passed since Russia’s full-fledged military aggression against Georgia in 2008.
Russia’s war of aggression against Georgia in 2008 in August is not an isolated case, but represents a pattern of Russia’s aggressive policy of violation of the territorial integrity and an attempt to forcibly redraw the borders of a sovereign state, posing a significant threat to the European security architecture. Sixteen years on the Russian Federation continues to persistently undermine the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Georgia through its illegal military presence and occupation of Georgia’s regions in blatant violation of the fundamental principles and norms of international law, the UN Charter and noncompliance to other international commitments inter alia the EU-mediated 12 August 2008 Ceasefire Agreement. to be forgotten #🇬🇪🇬🇪🇬🇪
